Chapter 19

Kathryn’s POV

I can’t believe that I just received a standing ovation. Buti nagustuhan nila yung performance ko. First time kong kumanta in front of so many people. At sariling composition ko pa yung kinanta ko. I never thought na magugustuhan talaga nila yun. Masyado bang nakaka-emo yung kanta ko? Eh kasi that was the first song I wrote right after my first love left me without knowing his reason. Unfair di ba? Basta basta na lang niya akong iniwan. Dahil dito, I can’t say that I’ve moved on completely. I just wanted to know why he left me. Kapag nalaman ko na ang dahilan, I can totally let go of the past. Pero magkikita pa ba ulit kami? Will I ever see him again and talk to him to clear things out? Am I really ready to face him again? Am I really sure that I would be able to move on after we talk or will I end up being hurt again? Napatigil yung pag-iisip ko when I received a text message.

Emergency? Ano kayang nangyari? Buti na lang tapos na akong magperform. Mukhang di ko na masasamahan sina Julia sa panonood ng concert ah. Text ko na lang sila na aalis na ko kasi may emergency daw sabi ni Mom.

Hi guys. Sorry I won’t be able to watch the rest of the concert. Pupuntahan ko kasi si Mom, may emergency daw kasi sa boutique eh.

After magperform ni Bes, natahimik na lang ako. Naisip ko kasi yung Hearts Night mamaya. Parang ayoko na lang umattend kasi wala rin naman akong date eh. Di naman pwede si Diego kasi nga di ba may fiance na siya? Saka imposible na iinvite niya ako na maging date niya. Sobrang lungkot naman ng Valentines Day ko. Haaay. Buti pa si Bes, date niya si Albie mamaya.
