Chapter 9
~Eliana's P.O.V.~
Amaya was safely put away in her own stable, she seemed to be a bit restless away from me, but I quickly took care of her and made sure that she was alright. I slowly patted her head before I saw Leo again.
"My Lady...would you like for me to show you to the healer to have that cut healed?" Leo asked with his head down.
"That would be greatly appreciated Leo" I smiled and followed Leo to the healer where they cleaned the cut and healed it to a point where there wasn't a cut anymore.
I smiled happily. "Thank you..."
"My Lady...the king requests to see you" Leo said shyly not looking towards my face.
"Then please lead the way" I insisted.
Leo nodded his head and took me to what I believed was the throne room. It was well decorated and I also noticed that I saw Legolas standing right beside another elloth. This elloth looked older than Legolas and I assumed that it was his father, They looked so much alike in so many ways. They both had long sun kissed hair, light skin, and blue eyes.
"Hello Eliana Rosewood...I have heard of you...My name if King Thranduil...and I would like to welcome you to Mirkwood" He said with such a strong voice.
"T-Thank you my lord for allowing me to stay here...you are too kind"
"Nonsense my dear...you are welcomed to stay here anytime you would like...now Legolas please show lady Eliana to her room...I am sure that she would like a fresh clean set of clothes" Thranduil smiled towards me and I smile back shyly.
"Yes father I will gladly show her" Legolas gently took my arm and lead me up a set of staircases and down some hallways before he had finally stopped and showed me my room. "will you be able to join us in the dining hall for dinner?" Legolas asked me.
"I believe I will be able to since I have no choice at the matter Legolas" I laughed lightly. "I will be there my prince"
"That is good news then...I shall send someone up to get you and to escort you there when the time comes...is that alright?"
"It is fine Legolas...goodbye and thank you again for the hospitality" I smiled.
"You are very welcome Eliana" Legolas gently took my hand in his and placed a kiss on the top of my hand. "Goodbye" Legolas murmured lightly before leaving.
I could feel my cheeks burn slightly when I entered my sleeping quarters. I took a deep breathe before looking out towards the sun, it looked like it was noon already. I sighed and quickly took off my shoes and collapsed on the bed and instantly fell asleep.
"Eliana.....Eliana.....Eliana my princess wake up" A gently voice was calling out to me.
My eyes fluttered a bit before it opened slightly. When my eyes opened completely I saw her, Destiny lightly shaking me.
"Destiny? w-what are you doing here?"I asked curiously as she sat down on the edge of my bed.
"I came to tell you something" She smiled wickedly.
I eyed her curiously and backed away from her. "Tell me what?"
"About Legolas...it's him you know...the very person you saw in the vision...are you impressed?"
"Impressed? impressed about what?" I asked."Nothing my dear girl...oh...and the sun is about to set and your about to be late for dinner my dear" She smiled. "Good luck Eliana" She said before vanishing again.
I groaned lightly and heard a knock on the door. I quickly got up and opened the door, it was a servant girl. She smiled at my happily before entering my room.
"I've been sent here on orders of King Thranduil to prepare you for tonight"
"Oh..." was all I could say as she quickly ran around the room preparing my bath and picking our a gown for me to wear.
When my bath was quickly done and over with I smelt like fresh vanilla with a hint of honey. I dried myself off and quickly went to see what dress the servant girl had chosen for me. I loved it, it was an elegant dress. The designs were beautiful and very detailed.
"You'll look beautiful in this trust me...you will be the jewel for tonight"
I quickly put on the gown and allowed the servant girl to fix up my hair. I didn't mind that she wanted to braid my hair on the sides, I just went with her opinion. When was finished with my hair it was slightly wavy and it had tight braids around the sides. I finished my look with my mothers circlet and with that I was done preparing myself.
"You look stunning my lady" The girl complimented me.
"Thank you" I kindly replied with a light smile.
"Now come I have to show you the way" The girl quickly walked away and I had to follow her quickly because I was fearing that I was late.
