Chapter 29

~Sadaron's P.O.V.~

They had me sent into their cells. I could perfectly understand their reason to hate me. I have been used to it. People always judging me for what my father is. I hated it, but I was used to it. I was used to having people treat me like dirt when they always found out who I was. I was used to it, and it didn't surprise me when Haldir had taken me. I didn't bother to fight them, I just let them take me. They stuffed me in a small cramped up cell. I sat there looking at the ceiling thinking of Eliana's well being. Then my thoughts were grabbed onto mother and what she would do to Eliana. I could think of the many things mother could do to torture my poor Eliana, which is why I could not allow that to happen. I have to be there to protect Eliana with my very life.

I sighed and held my head in my hands. That was when I heard the door to my cell open. I turned my head and I saw a beautiful elleth with long cascading light hair, beautiful glowing skin, mesmerizing blue eyes. Everything about this elleth seemed enchanting. That is when I realized the must have been the Lady of these lands.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit my lady?" I said humbly and respectfully.

"I am Lady Galadriel...and I have been told that you are the son of a great evil...is it true?" Galadriel's voice spoke out smoothly.

I found it hard to resist her. "It is true...I am"

Lady Galadriel stared at me with such interest. "Come with me" She said lightly as she walked away.

I quickly stood up and followed her and she lead my in complete silence throughout her homeland. It wasn't until she stopped that I took the time to look around. I was standing before Lady Galadriel in a small hidden courtyard covered with grass. There were several vines dancing up on the stone walls. and on a small stone pedestal. There was a small cascading fountain which Lady Galadriel stood by closely keeping her eyes on me.

"Sadaron...Son of Sauron...do you wonder why I have brought you here?" She said lightly.

"I do not know and I do not wonder why...I can only assume that it is something important" I answered.

"You do not wonder? Yet you know it is important...you are wise...but foolish...you are old and matured for an elf...but then you are young and childish...I brought you here Sadaron because an elloth refused to believe of what you are" She whispered before she walked to the pedestal in the center. "Come...look into the mirror Sadaron" She said gently.

I looked at her and then the pedestal but walked to it without question. Lady Galadriel smiled at me and backed away, I could sense fear in her, but it was very little. As I looked down I saw that this mirror was just a silver bowl filled with water. I looked deeper into the mirror and I could see Eliana, smiling happily. Seeing her made me smile as well. Then the image changed quickly into something different. It showed me a flashback. I knew it was a flashback because it has him, Sauron in it. He was destroying everything in it's path. Leaving nothing but a fiery doom. He viciously murdered innocent lives. Many women, children, old men and women, soldiers, elves, dwarves. One at a time my father left behind a trail of bloodshed.

My heartbeat quickened rapidly, I could not handle this much. I knew what my father was and I hated it. I hated everything that he was and I hated everything I am. Because of him I have to watch people suffer around me. The mirror showed more bloodshed and I closed my eyes trying to avoid it, but I couldn't. There was screaming in my head, screams of death, grief, and pain. My body trembled as it continued. I could feel the tears fall from my eyes. Then the visions ceased and I was staring into Sauron's great eye. It was looking at me with such hatred.

"Traitor!" The great eye hissed at me, making me shake with fear.

The visions continued again this time of the future. I could see everything, everything was damaged, burned, lifeless. There was not one single soul alive. Then it showed Eliana again. She was with her people...our people back in Linfia, but she was not alive, she was dead. Her body was mangled and destroyed. Our people were dying, suffering, and I knew why. The wrong life was given.

I wanted to be there to protect our people, I wanted to save them but i could not do it alone. I needed the help of the Fellowship. I did not want to see our people die. I did not want to see our land fall and rot and be overruled by Sauron and his foul orcs and Uruk-hai. I did not want them to do this to my kin. I had to try and stop them...For Eliana's sake. The screams in my head ended, and the visions went away as well. My body was shaking fiercely, and I could not control it. I looked away from the mirror and straight at Lady Galadriel. She had a graceful smile on her lips.

"Sadaron...I know what you saw...and I know who you truly are...you are Sadaron...Son of none...you may be Sauron's flesh and blood but you have a good soul...your life has been tainted by darkness but your pure heart was not corrupted by it...you wish to protect your half sister Eliana and your people don't you?"

My shaking body slowed down a bit. "More than my very life"

"Then you are destined to join the fellowship...travel with them and protect those you hold near and dear to you...Sadaron...you have passed your test and have earned your life" Lady Galadriel smiled. "Come...I shall show you to the others...there you will be able to get everything cleared up and straightened out" Lady Galadriel said as she lead the way.

I followed Lady Galadriel in silence and I thought to myself...Sadaron, Son of none. I was proud of myself. I now know that from this day forward I will no longer be called the spawn son of Sauron.
