Kisame POV
"Ahhh..." I sighed as I slowly sink into the soft cushioned bed. I stared at the ring that Leader-sama gave me. As a new member of Akatsuki, I know nothing about the Akatsuki, other than Leader-sama, Konan, and my partner Uchiha Itachi. But it doesn't matter, as long as I get to kill somebody.
We wouldn't be in this kind of situation if Leader-sama didn't sent us out for a mission. We were fine that time when we started the mission, but then a snowstorm suddenly appeared.
It all started from here....
-flashbacks-
"Itachi! Can we take a rest here?" I asked as I sat down on the lumpy white ground and rested my back on a tree bark. Itachi turned his head to look at me and nodded, he loosened his grip on the things in his hand, and let it fell on the ground.
He slowly let himself sat on a tree stump, pouring himself a hot cup of matcha tea. He sipped his hot beverage silently while keeping on guard.
I closed my eyes for a while, I breathed out a hot puff of air, letting them vanished in thin air.
The wind started to picks up, out of blue, Itachi turned on his sharingan and shook me up from my trance. We gathered our things as fast as we could and raced for shelters.
We don't know how long it took us to actually find a cabin. Soon the icy snowflakes started to fall from the sky, onto the white soft blanket.
We rushed toward the cabin and knocked at the door, hoping that there would be nobody living here, or rather somebody.
But fate chooses the latter.
A kid, somewhere around 6-8, decided to open the door. She looked at us closely, inspecting us head to toe, as if we were an alien.
She opened her mouth, her high-pitched, childish voice echoed the empty cabin.
"Who are you? What's your business for coming here, my dwelling?" She asked.
I was about to open my mouth to answer her, but Itachi beats me to it.
"Can you let us stay here for awhile?"
