Sam's P.O.V.

"Where could she be? She wouldn't just not answer her phone." I paced back in forth.

Jazmin's gone and no one has a clue where she would've gone. She won't answer any of our calls or texts.

"Okay, calm down Sam." Jc walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm sure she'll be back any second."

We heard the door knob jiggle and then a knock. My heart nearly skipped beat. Jc walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey, did you see her down there?" Jc asked Anthony when he walked in.

I was upset it wasn't her, but maybe he had some good news.

"No." Anthony shook his head. Just great. "But I found this." He held up a phone. Wait, that's her phone.

"Where'd you find that?" I asked him.

"Elevator."

"She could be anywhere." I groaned.

"I'm sure she's fine. She'll be back before you know it." Jc said.

I would never forgive myself if something were to happen to her here. I know it's best not to think about something bad happening to her, but what if there is. No, she's fine. No, not fine. She's okay. She has to be. Like Jc said, she'll be back before I know it.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into an hour, and she's still not here.

"I have to go look for her." I tried to stand up, but Jc pushed me down.

"No, what if she comes back and you're not here." He said softly.

"Then call me and tell me." I tried to get out of his grasp.

"I can't let you go Sam."

"You don't get it Jc." I ripped away from him. "She's only her, because I convinced her to come. If anything happens to her, it's my fault."

"I bet she just went to meet up with someone." Jenn said stopping me dead in my tracks.

"Who?" Jc asked as I stood there dumbfounded.

"This slipped out of her pocket when we wear having a mini dance party." She handed Jc a piece of paper.

"What is it?" I asked.

"This doesn't prove she went to meet someone." Jc said to Jenn as he handed me the paper with a number on it.

"Well, she left to talk on the phone." She answered proudly.

"And why didn't you tell us before?" I asked her getting angry.

"I didn't think it was important." She shrugged. "Although, she did look nervous while leaving. Like she was hiding something."

"She doesn't know anyone here except us. Who would she even go with?" Jc questioned.

"Maybe she met someone." Jack suggested.

"So, she met someone and left to meet that person?" Lexxi asked.

It wasn't until then I realized everyone was awkwardly just sitting around listening to us.

"We know her. That's not something she'd d-"

"She left with me when I first met her." I interrupted Jc.

"But that's not the sa-"

"How is it not the same?" I interrupted again.

"You know it's not." He pressed.
