Connor's P.O.V.
I walked up the stairs and to Sam's room. I knocked on the door and he still didn't say anything. He's been like this for a few days, and we haven't been able to help him.
"Sam, we get why you're like this, but there can be an explanation for it." I said once opening his door and stepping in. He's laying on his bed, with his face deep in his pillow.
"An explanation for her not talking to me or any of us for no reason?" Sam sat up and rubbed his eyes. Either he's been sleeping too much, or he hasn't been sleeping enough. I wouldn't be able to tell, because all he's been doing is locking himself in here.
"You never know. Something could have happened and she's just busy. You know how stressful school could be, espexallcially for her." I suggested. I just didn't want him to think about something bad.
"Hey, we're headed out. You coming?" Jc came into the room. We had planned to go out and get something to eat, but I wasn't sure if I would go. I didn't want to leave Sam alone. I know he can handle himself, but no one deserves to be alone, especially when your girlfriend's been avoiding you. I know how it feels.
"I'm alright." Sam fell back onto his bed.
"Nah, you're coming." I pulled his legs so that he fell on the floor. "You need to get out of this funk."
"No, I don't want to go." Sam stood up and pushed me away. I wasn't that hurt by it, but it hurt more seeing him this way.
"Maybe it'd be good." Jc put his arm around Sam. "To get out there, and just well you know; get out." He lead Sam out of his room and I followed.
"Where are you guys going?" He asked going down the stairs willingly.
"Anywhere you want." Jc said happily.
"Let's just go hang out." Sam said sounding a little happier than he has been in a while. "Wait, Connor?" He turned around.
"Yeah?" I opened the front door.
"Has she called you, or texted you?" He asked. "Out of anyone, it'd be you." I was kind of taken back by that. It took me a few seconds to process it.
"Oh, I- no, she didn't." I answered. She hasn't answered, called, or tested any of us.
I'm pretty worried about her. She's ignored us before, but that was different. She at least talked to Sam last time. We got together for a day, and then she goes back to ignoring us? Everything seemed to be going just fine. I feel like she's hiding something from us. Something she doesn't want us to know.
We walked out of the house and started to debate on whether to walk or take the car. We decided to take the car, so we all pulled in. Ricky in the drivers seat, Kian in the passenger seat, and me in between Sam and Jc.
"Let's just drive around and see where we''ll end up." Jc ordered Ricky.
"Alright, Mr. Caylen." Ricky agreed and began to drive.
We drove around for about 20 minutes in silence, until Kian spotted a Taco Bell. Ricky pulled into the parking lot and we all got out of the car. We walked in, and we went straight to a table in the back.
"I got it this time." I said and walked up to the small line in the front. We'be known each other long enough to know what we all get.
When it was my turn, I ordered our food, and paid. I stepped aside and went back to hand everyone their cups. They stood up and got their drinks. The silence was killing me, because it was never this quiet with us. Right when I was about to open my mouth I heard a familiar laugh. The guys must of heard it too, because they turned in the sane direction.
