Sam's P.O.V.

"Come on!" I pull her back to me. "Just let me see it."

"No. You promised you wouldn't." She turns around so she's facing me. She pokes nose and makes a silly face.

She all of a sudden is in a better mood. Connor told me about what she did, and that none of us were allowed to see it yet. She made us promise, and it's hard just thinking about breaking one of her promises.

"Please." I kiss her nose and she giggles.

"No, and that tickled." She swats my chest and I bend back to look at her correctly.

"Did you just say that tickled?" Her eyes go wide and and she shakes her head. "You did! Ha, I told you I would find a way to tickle you."

"Okay, I can give you that one, but it won't happen again."

"I bet it will." My phone begins to ring and she moves away so that I can get it. When I dig it out of my pocket, I grab her by the waist and sit her down on my lap when I fall onto the bed. "Hello?"

"Hi Sam, can you tell Ricky that we're here already. Literally no one is answering the phone." Jack says sounding pretty annoyed. Knowing Ricky, his phone probably died.

"He's right there!" I hear Jenn in the back round.

"Oh yeah, I see them. These bitches are all preppy and shit. Thanks anyway Sam. See You when we get there." He hangs up before I can say anything and I toss my phone aside.

"That was Jack." I wrap my arms around her waist. "They're here. Not here, nut here. You know what I mean."

"Yeah.. that's good." She gives me a small smile and rests her head on my shoulder. I notice her mood is slightly different now.

"What's wrong?" I catch her off guard by turning her around. She wraps her arms around my neck to keep herself from falling back. I hold her to keep her secure and she sighs.

"Nothing. I think that I just used up all my energy." She runs her fingers through the hair in the back of my head and shrugs her shoulders. "I'm alright though."

"There's something on your mind." I push the hair covering her face away and lift her chin. "You can tell me.."

"I can't though." Something in her eyes tells me that she really can't. But her facial expression tells me she really wants to. "I'm in no position to say anything about it now. There's already so much going on."

I know why she wouldn't want to say anything, but I can't help but want to know. This can turn into something more in her head if she keeps it to herself. She has kept too much to herself already.

"Just tell me. It'll be okay." I rub her back to comfort her.

"Remember in New York, when I was acting pretty.. weird." She pauses so that. could respond. I nod and tilt her head back. "I wanted to tell you. I really did, but I was scared."

"Scared of what?"

"What she would do." It takes me No more than a second to figure out who she's talking about. "She told me to stay away from you, and I didn't. I did my best to ignore it like I probably should have, but I dom't know.. That was weeks ago, and now she's here. She probably knows I haven't been staying away."

"She told you to stay away from me?"

"Yeah, do you not believe me?" She gets off me and walks to the other side of the room and begins to look through boxes. "She gave me this." She pulls out a piece of paper and rushed over to me. "I've reread it so many times, I lost count."
