I had dropped off my bag of money to a guy, who worked for Mr. Winchester, that was staying a floor above Ryan's apartment. I gulped nervously as my trembling hand knocked on the door.
It was a while before Ryan opened the door. His hair was messy and he was only wearing a bathrobe, looking like he wasn't wearing anything else underneath. His lips were bright pink with lipstick smeared on it.
His eyes widened when he noticed me standing there, clutching my bags of clothes closely to me.
"Kimberly, what are you doing here?" He asked me.
"Babe! What's taking so long?" A woman's voice called out from inside his apartment.
"Hold on!" He yelled back, as he turned his head towards the inside. When he turned back to face me, my gaze was already on my feet. I had knots in my stomach and my palms were getting really sweaty.
"I... I followed you here... I wanted to come and stay with you," I explained, lying as my voice shook and tears wanting to fill my eyes. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.
"H-How did you... I.... C-Come inside, then..." He said, opening the door wider and letting me enter. I clutched my bags tighter as I walked in, and a woman walked out from what I assumed the bedroom. Her bare body was wrapped in bedsheets and she just stared at me.
"Who is this bitch?" She asked, turning to Ryan and he sighed again.
"Rebecca, please... She's just a friend who needs some help," Ryan defended himself as he stepped towards her.
"Call me when this is all sorted out," Rebecca replied, storming into the bedroom. Ryan followed, closing the door behind them. I heard them arguing, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.
My heart was racing so fast, and the longer I stood here, the more I wanted to go home. I felt like crying, and throwing up, but I did my best to remain strong.
I admit, it did hurt when I saw Rebecca. But, what was I thinking? It's not like Ryan and I actually had a thing. He was living his life the way he wanted to, so of course he's going to get with girls.
Rebecca came back out, fully dressed and her purse in her hand. She left the apartment, slamming the door behind her, making me flinch by the sound. When Ryan walked out, he was wearing black boxers and a white t-shirt.
"I didn't know you were coming.. Uh... You could sleep in my bedroom and I'll take the couch?" He suggested, waking to the kitchen. He grabbed a glass and placed it under the sink faucet, turning it on and filling the glass.
I thought about all the things they have done in that bedroom and I shuddered.
"N-No, thanks... I'll sleep on the couch. And sorry, for ruining your night with your girlfriend," I said, putting my bags down next to the couch. I sat down as he handed me the glass. I peered inside and the glass didn't look that clean, making the water look less clear.
I placed it down on the table, and he sat down next to me. "She's not my girlfriend, but it's fine. But... How did you even find me?" Ryan asked me.
"I had friends help me find you. I even talked to those fighters at the park. I really wanted to find you, Ryan."
He stayed silent afterwards. He rubbed his eyes while he yawned. I could tell he was sleepy.
"What about Nathan? Isn't he upset about you leaving?"
"So? Who cares.. I came to be with you," I answered him and he just nodded slowly, his eyes closing. "Ryan, you should go to bed..."
He nodded again, and he placed his head on my shoulder. When I tried to nudge him off, he was already fast asleep. I groaned, knowing there was no way I could drag him to his bedroom. I leaned his body against the arm of the couch and the back.
I lied down on the other side of the couch, using one of the uncomfortable pillows he had on the floor. I didn't want to think about what could've happened to these pillows, I was too tired and I just wanted to sleep.

When I woke up, Ryan was on top of me. I had a hard time slipping through without waking him up. I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes, afterwards. There was no dish soap on the counter.
I checked underneath the sink and I saw a bottle of Dawn that was nearly empty. I sighed, turning to look at Ryan, who was sleeping soundly on the couch.
"How do you not have a disease?" I asked him, glancing down at the Dawn bottle and then back at him. I shook my head, thinking of how he even cleans his dishes.
Does he just rinse them and considers them clean? Or does he use hand soap?
Speaking of hand soap, does he even have any?
I put the Dawn bottle down and I rushed to the bathroom, and on the counter I saw bar soap, which was small. I saw a toothpaste tube, that was flat.
I got dressed into a white blouse, blue jeans, a violet blue coat and burgundy horseriding style boots. I pulled out a small purse from the large bags, and I headed out. I went to the man upstairs to get some cash.
I could not believe Ryan has been living like this. The whole apartment is so dirty, I bet he doesn't even have a vaccuum. The carpet is not even white, it's dark brown. Everything is really dusty too.
I'm going out and I'm going to buy a shitload of cleaning supplies. We're spending all day cleaning up...
