"You're saying Mr. Winchester took your wife away from you?" I asked, and Mr. Bradley agreed. He put his flask to his lips, and I sat down next to him and grabbed the flask from his hands. He looked over at me and his eyes spelled out his weariness.
"My wife was well over 10 years older than him, but he still wanted her after Hailey committed suicide. I thought he was just playing a terrible joke, but Isaac Winchester, the father of Isaiah, always got what he wanted. This whole family is terrible. They ruin people's lives, and throw money in their faces expecting them to just move on."
I placed a hand gently on Mr. Bradley's shoulder and I pulled him into a hug, only because he looked like he needed and wanted one. He didn't cry, instead, he just closed his eyes and he buried his face into my shoulder. He looked like a lost young man, and my heart ached for him.
"Mr. Bradley... I will never back down, ever. I promise you. And now hearing your story, I will do this for you and your Hailey," I assured him and he pulled back and gave me a weak smile.
I left him on his bed so he can rest. When I left the small bedroom, I saw Mr. Winchester going into the elevator. After it closed I rushed to the stairs, and I quickly climbed them. I ran to Mr. Winchester's study, and I noticed the bodyguards were not outside. I grabbed the doorknob and it was unlocked. I turned it all the way and when I opened it, I noticed Ryan was sitting in a chair. He turned and his eyes widened. My eyes widened in return.
He stood up and before he could say anything, Mr. Winchester spoke up. "So glad you can join us, Ms. Adams," Mr. Winchester said as he walked in and closed the door behind him. "Please, have a seat."
I took a seat in the chair next to Ryan. Mr. Winchester sat in his chair behind his desk. He glanced at both of us with a grin on his face. "I'd like to hear what Kimberly has to say first, if you don't mind Ryan."
"I was just going to report to you about my mission. That... Ryan is here, but it seems that he beat me to it," I replied with a fake smile. Mr. Winchester smiled back and chuckled a little bit as he clasped his hands together.
"Yes, it seems he has. Is there anything else? You look like you have more to say."
"Oh, yes. I thank you for allowing my family to receive medical treatment after you hurt them. And I have a request regarding Mr. Bradley... it might be a bit unexpected," I answered him as my fists tightened in nervousness. Mr. Winchester smirked and tilted his head to the side.
"Enlighten me with this request."
"I..." I looked over to Ryan, and I forced tears to fill my eyes. "It was true that I fell in love with Ryan, but it was brief. I... I feel ashamed to say this, but... I think I'm in love with Mr. Bradley. I-I... I'm embarrassed to say that I've always found older men attractive, ever since middle school..." Fake tears rolled down my cheeks and I looked away towards the wall on my right.
I could feel Ryan's gaze on me. I turned to see Mr. Winchester laughing in amusement. "Wow, I never expected this from a little snake like yourself," Mr. Winchester said as he laughed some more. "I honestly didn't see this coming. I give props to you, right Ryan? I thought she would've chosen Nathan or someone else, but Mr. Bradley?" Mr. Winchester looked over to Ryan and laughed louder.
"I started to feel something when he started driving me to school and to my home. Although he may almost be 50, he still looks really attractive," I admitted as I tried to hide my face in embarrassment. Mr. Winchester laughed again and then opened one of his drawers. He pulled out a walkie-talkie.
"Bring Bradley into my study," Mr. Winchester commanded into the walkie-talkie. Soon after, Mr. Bradley entered and I stood up suddenly.
"M-Mr. Bradley.." I said, my face blushing and he looked confused. Mr. Winchester chuckled as he stood up as well. He came over and put an arm around Mr. Bradley.
"Aren't you a lucky man?" Mr. Winchester said to Mr. Bradley who still looked confused. They both stepped outside, closing the door. Ryan and I were left in the room in awkward silence. I took out a small rounded microphone, the size of a button, from my pocket and I went around to the other side of Mr. Winchester's desk.
"Look away," I told Ryan in a stern voice. He didn't say anything and turned his head. I squatted down and I attached the microphone to the very corner of his desk underneath.
"What do you think is happening out there?" Ryan asked as I came back around and sat back down in my chair.
"You can turn back around. And I don't know."
As if on cue, they both came back in and Mr. Bradley had a bruise forming on his left eye. I gasped as I put my hands to my mouth. I rushed over to Mr. Bradley as Mr. Winchester sat back down in his chair. "You guys both disgust me."
I took Mr. Bradley's hand and I wrapped mine around his. I looked at Mr. Winchester and I smiled. "Don't worry, Mr. Winchester. I won't be wanting your son, so he's all yours. Isn't that what you wanted? To make him yours?" I asked and I saw Mr. Winchester's fists clench tightly on his desk.
"You two may excuse yourselves."
"Very well," I replied and Mr. Bradley bowed his head in respect. We both left the study and Mr. Bradley turned to me.
"Stop. You should've left me out of this!" Mr. Bradley hissed at me and I watched him as he stumbled down at the stairs. I quietly followed him and into his small bedroom. He drank more from his flask and I watched as he slowly got drunk.
"You were already in this, since the very beginning," I told Mr. Bradley as I walked closer to him. "And the only way we'll be closer to ending this war is if we make our love believable." I grabbed the flask from his hand and set it on his dresser. "Sure, it might seem disgusting, but... think about it. Ryan will go crazy trying to understand how I began to fall for you, and blame it on his father. This war is between them."
I reached for Mr. Bradley's jacket and I unbuttoned the single button that was buttoned. I gulped nervously. I apologized to Ryan and to Nathan in my mind as Mr. Bradley reached for my shirt. He was drunk and it made it easier for him to give in to temptation. I sucked in a sharp breath as my shirt was lifted up and over my head.
"I.. I can't. I see my daughter," Mr. Bradley said, as he turned around, his back now facing me. I put a hand on his shoulder gently in comfort.
"I don't want to either. And we don't have to actually do it. We just need to make it believable," I explained to him and he turned back around. "Just pretend I'm not her for just a little bit," I told him as I took out an earpiece and put it into my ear.
"...your hotel." Ryan was speaking and I heard Mr. Winchester sigh loudly in frustration.
"Did you not just see what happened? Those shitheads are in love with each other? 30 years apart and they're in love. Don't you want to do something about it? You love her, isn't that why you're here right now, sitting in front of me? You can have her and I'll leave her and her family alone if you just take over my hotel."
"I... I'll do it."
My eyes widened at Ryan's response and I took the earpiece out of my ear and I put it back into my pocket. I looked at Mr. Bradley and he knew exactly what to do.

Thanks so much for reading!
Sorry if it got a little weird :P
I think it's cute when young and older people fall in love, obviously legally. But in this case, Kimberly and Mr. Bradley are not in love, and will never be. (That would be a good twist XD)
Yup, I also apologize for the craziness and the drama. And if it doesn't flow that smoothly, I also apologize. I'm just trying to rush and write down my ideas for the story before they're gone.
That's why I got lots of mistakes. So pleeeeease don't mind them, as I say constantly.
Love you all, and thank you.
