The next morning, as I woke up, Nathan came into my room with a grin on his face. I sat up in my bed, confused as I rubbed my sleepy eyes. "What?" Was all I said and he took a seat on my bed.

"Since all this has been happening, you haven't really been able to let loose and have some fun. So, I decided to take you to an amusement park. Preferably Six Flags," Nathan said and my sleepy eyes immediately bulged out in surprise as my jaw dropped.

"No way!"

"Obviously, the tickets and the journey there is expensive, so Ryan ended up pitching in. All 3 of us will be going. I think it would be great, since we've all been so stressed lately."

I smiled as I threw my arms around him happily. "I am so excited and happy! This will be so amazing!" Nathan's face did show excitement as well, but I knew deep down that Nathan did not want Ryan to join us. If it was up to Nathan, it would just be us two, but sometimes his goals can be just a tad bit harder for him to achieve than he initially thought it would be.

"So. Get ready. We'll be leaving in 3 days," Nathan informed as he stood up from my bed. I sat there with a surprised face. I did not expect it to be that soon, but it only made me look forward to it even more. As he left the room, I started to get out of bed and walk over to my closet. I pulled out a suitcase and laid it open on the floor. I began to think really hard of what to take and what to wear over there.

I look through my closet and my dresser. I didn't even know how long we were going to be over there for, but I already had some outfits in mind. There was a knock on my door. "Yes?" I responded as I continued to pull out some shirts from my dresser and unfolded them over my bed.

"Oh, and you better not wear anything too revealing," Nathan told me while he opened my door and I turned to look at him, one of my eyebrows raised as our gaze held each other's.

"Thanks. Now I know what I'm going to wear," I answered and he shot me a dirty look before turning around. "Okay, Mom." I rolled my eyes as he closed the door behind him. I grinned as I thought of some revealing clothes I had that I would bring just to spite him. I knew how childish I was, and as a grown woman, it was quite immature, but since he wanted me to have some fun, I might as well go all out.

My phone began to ring and I reached for it. When I saw the caller ID, my whole body froze and my eyes widened, and soon, I ended up glaring at my phone. I answered it and held it to my right ear. "What do you wish to tell me now?" I asked and I heard coughing on the other side of the line.

"Miss Adams, you still haven't made your move yet. You're running out of time."

"Don't rush me. You may be dying, but you can wait," I remarked as I clutched the shirt in my hand tightly, wrinkling the fabric as I stared out my window. "I wouldn't be complaining either, since you're one step ahead of us anyways."

"Listen to me, Miss Adams..." Mr. Winchester coughed some more, and I waited impatiently for him to continue on with his sentence. "I will always be one step ahead of you guys. Always. But I will not always wait. If you don't make a move soon, I will make the move for you, and you guys will be even further behind. And I will make you regret even thinking you could challenge me, understand? This will be my last warning."

He hung up and I stood there, my heart racing a mile a minute and my fist clenched so tightly, my skin turned super white. I felt my nails through the fabric of the shirt, poking into the palm of my hand. I slammed my phone down on my desk and I watched as Nathan pulled weeds outside. He had cargo shorts on and was shirtless. The hot sun's rays were beaming down on his body as he pulled out the toughest weeds in our yard and threw them into one big pile.

I sighed, feeling myself calm down. I released the shirt from my hand and let it fall to the floor. "What an asshole," I mumbled, before turning around and returning to packing my clothes.

"He said what?" Ryan asked, in shock as he slammed his fist against the table. The glasses that were on the table rattled. Nathan just rubbed his face in frustration and I stood there, not knowing what to do.

I just finished explaining to them about the phone call from Mr. Winchester. 3 days had already passed and we're about to leave to California tonight. I had to postpone the little meeting, because Ryan was really busy.

"Do you think Six Flags is a great idea now?" I asked, glancing towards my suitcase that was sitting by the door. My small backpack was resting on top of my suitcase. "I mean--"

"No. We'll still go to Six Flags," Ryan answered, cutting me off as he leaned back in his chair. His gaze was fixated on something else as he was lost in thought. His right hand rested on the table and his forefinger tapped against the surface slowly. "Having fun won't hurt, and it doesn't mean that we won't be able to come up with ideas over there. Besides, my assistant has been working really hard. While I was gone those three days, I actually got a lot of information," Ryan added, still not looking up.

I nodded as I leaned my body against Nathan. I watched as Ryan rose to his feet. "What information?" I was curious, and he looked over at me with a smile.

"I'll tell you later. This information isn't really useful towards our predicament, but it is quite interesting concerning my family. Anyways, it's time to head over to the airport," Ryan announced and Nathan only nodded his head.

Nathan grabbed his suitcase that was behind him and his backpack. I grabbed my stuff next to the front door, and we both filed out of my house. As we approached Ryan's car, my mother pulled up in the driveway with Mr. Bradley in the passenger seat. Ryan opened the trunk of his car and helped load my suitcase and backpack, and left Nathan to load his stuff on his own.

"Kimberly."

I turned to see my mother calling out to me as she got out of the car. I walked over to her and she pulled me into a big hug. I wrapped my arms around her tightly, and we stayed like this for a while. All the men around us just watched as we started to get emotional with each other.

"I want you to have a good time, okay? Just forget about everything for the time being, and finally get some rest. You've been so stressed and having such a hard time," she said as she cupped both sides of my face with her hands. "Tim and I will be fine here."

I nodded slowly as she kissed my forehead and we pulled each other in for another hug. I said goodbye to Mr. Bradley, as well. I got into the backseat, since Nathan took the passenger seat already. "Ready?" Ryan asked me as he started the engine.

"Yeah. Let's go." I answered, not bothering to glance back at Mr. Bradley and my mother.
