"What the hell were you saying?! Were you even thinking before speaking?" Nathan was yelling at me. My mother and Mr. Bradley had gone out for fresh air, and I was left with Nathan alone in the hospital room. He was standing at the end of my bed, his arms crossed and a glare in his eyes. He just shook his head and then turned away from me, in complete utter shock by the words I had said not too long ago.

"Of course I was. Have you not noticed how many lives that Mr. Winchester takes? He's an old man. Decades old. Don't you think he could've had all those decades to end people's lives? He needs to die, Nathan. He needs to die."

"Yeah, but you don't have to be the one to do it. Doesn't he have cancer?"

"Like I'm so gonna let him die because of some cancer. That's so bullshit, Nathan! That's not going to do anything, nor let those poor dead souls Rest In Peace."

He opened his mouth to say something, but instead, he stormed out of the room. I wished that I could've ran after him and tried to talk to him some more, but I was stuck here in this hospital bed. I sighed, silence falling over me and the entire room.

A few minutes passed, and soon it was an hour that passed before anyone came to visit me. Not even nurses came to check up on me. I would've settled for nurses, because I honestly just wanted to see somebody. Anybody. I was bored out of my mind. Normally, people would think that doing nothing all day is the greatest. The idea is, but when you're stuck having to do nothing, it gets old fast.

I started to sing out loud. First it was Bruno Mars, then I sang Demi Lovato and then Selena Gomez and then decided to sing The Neighbourhood at the top of my lungs.

"Having fun?"

I almost died of a heart attack. I didn't notice Ryan had walked into the room. "Oh my God, Ryan! You scared me!" I raised my voice at him as I placed a hand over my heart.

"Sorry about that."

"Is everything okay?" I noticed he was pretty gloomy when he walked in. But, knowing the old Ryan, he would pretend like everything was okay and ran away. He had been changing since I met him. This new Ryan, doesn't run away anymore and he doesn't pretend like everything is okay.

"I finished talking to my 'brother'. He told me all these things, but honestly, I don't believe a word he says. I think my father is just doing this to throw me off guard."

"Ryan—"

"Anyways, I know you want me to wait so we can go to Ruidoso together and get Hailey back... But, I need to go." Ryan came closer and cupped the side of my face with his hand. "And I promise I'll bring Hailey back as soon as possible."

"Ryan.. Please don't do this to me. I want to go with you.." I told him with tears in my eyes.

"Kimberly.. Look at you.. You're in this state because of me.."

"Ryan, stop blaming yourself."

"How can I stop blaming myself?! I love you so much and yet you're hurt because of me! You almost died!" He suddenly yelled and tears were in his eyes, too. He pulled his hand away and shifted his gaze. "You almost died.. I almost lost you forever.." He whispered as tears rolled down his cheeks.

Some tears escaped my eyes as well. "Ryan.. Please stop blaming yourself.. I know I almost died. But I did it because I also love you! And I know you would've done the same for me.. So.. Please. Stop. Blaming yourself."

Ryan looked back at me and he leaned over, planting his lips on mine. Our sweet kiss only lasted for a few seconds before Nathan bursted into the room. Nathan looked hurt, but he ignored what he saw.
