He's Back...
Maddie's POV
December 19 at exactly 11am, my plane landed. Oh how nice it is to be home! Pagdating ko sa lounge ay agad kong namataan sina Kuya Axel at Kuya Zach. I ran towards them and hug them.
"I missed you!" i shouted.
"You're really missed, princess." ani Kuya Zach at kinuha na ang mga gamit ko.
Habang nasa sasakyan ay hindi ko maiwasan ang pagtingin sa orasan. I am suddenly excited about seeing my friends here again. I mean, finally after 7 years, right. Hindi ko rin napigilan ang pagtatanong kina Kuya ng mga nangyari nang nawalan ako ng balita.
"Eastwood has changed a lot." tanging banggit ko ng makarating na kami.
Nang makarating sa bahay ay nagtaka ako dahil sarado ang mga pinto, wala rin ang sasakyan ni Papa. Where are they then?
"Welcome home!!!!" bungad sa akin ni Mama at Papa, nandoon rin sina Yllana, Christiana at Aeriel. I almist cried.
"Oh god! Namiss ko kayo!!!"
The whole day was just full of reminiscing and sharing, bigla ay nawala ang pagod ko ng makita ko sila. Parang magic ba. We were talking about something when Yllana interrupted me.
"Tagaytay tomorrow?!" ani Yllana.
"Sorry, i cant make it tomorrow." agaran kong sagot.
"No!!!!"
I make face as i heard her shouted NOOOO. But then i saw Aeriel and Christiana looking at me. Nangongonsensya.
"Fine, tomorrow. Tagaytay." napairap nalang ako dahil wala na akong magawa.
"Yeeeeeeah!!!" sabay sabay nilang sigaw.
"Afternoon, we'll leave on afternoon." sabi ko sa kanila.
In case you're thinking why, i need to visit and check everything regarding my business here. And also to check a place we're can i franchise the 4th branch of Clo❄set. So most probably I'll be available only on the afternoon.
My friends went home at 9pm, hindi nila inisip ang jetlag ko or what, but that's fine. Mama heard deafening silence, maybe, cos she went down.
"Darling, i missed you." she said as she hugs me tight.
"Mama, we've seen each other just last month."
Yes, Mama went to France last month to visit me. She stayed there for 2 weeks and now she's missing me.
"Haynako, my baby has changed. Dati ay namimiss moko kahit araw araw." Mama said dramatically.
I hugged her instead of answering. Because i am guilty. What do you expect? Walang permanenteng bagay sa mundo, change is the only thing that's permanent.
Bumitaw si Mama sa yakap at hinalikan ako sa ulo bago umakyat ulit nang magpaalam na magpapahinga na.
A lot of things changed. My kind of clothes wearing, kung dati ay palagi lang akong plain, dress or whatsoever now I always wear formal and fashionable attire. My hair, way back, my hair is just straight, now its wavy, and long. How i speak, the way i communicate with people, the way i let people affect me. I dont know, siguro ay minsan marerealize mo nalang na nagbago ka nga. Change is indeed inevitable.
Bago matulog ay nagbisita muna ako ng emails. Everything is just about the business. But one, got my attention.
