"Remind me again why you want to kill them?" Layla's question echoed throughout the night air as the two siblings tracked through the woods.

"Because without hunter Jeremy they have no way of getting to Silas." Kol informed her as if it were the most logical thing ever.

"I'm all for a little maiming but wouldn't the easier option be to kill Jeremy? Hell I'll suffer through the curse again if it means stopping this nonsense." Layla complained as they got to the bar and Kol sighed looking to Layla.

"With a weapon that can kill us I do not think you would wish to suffer through the curse. You may actually die." Kol uttered in concern Layla didn't know if she could trust. As they walked into the bar Layla's snarled baring fangs as she sped up to one of the vampires ripping out its heart and then tearing off another's head. This fight continued until sun up. Then the two siblings stood together in the freezer as they heard people coming and after Layla snacked on a few of them they stacked the vampires in the freezer. Layla then got a bottle trying to quench her thirst.

"Looks like we're going to have to find some new vampires, what a waste." Damon muttered walking into the freezer with Jeremy.

"What the hell happened?" Jeremy asked and Layla took that as her entrance. She walked forward with the blood still dripping down her face.

"I'd like to think karma but nobody deserved to be decapitated." Layla tantalisingly commented with a manic grin. Jeremy and Damon turned to her wide eyed as Kol came up behind her.

"Kol? Layla?" Jeremy asked shocked.

"Jeremy good to see you mate, sorry about the mess. It was a little crowded when we arrived and I prefer more intimate gatherings. We four need to have a little chat." Kol informed them taking a drink of his own bottle of rum.

"Can I interest you in a drink?" Layla offered with a fake kind smile. "I've recently taken a course in bartending."

"He's underage and I don't like either of you." Damon snarled stepping forward cockily.

"My brother bragged about his plan to complete Jeremy's hunters mark. It was easy enough to track this lot down." Kol commented gesturing to the pile of dead vampires.

"Killing young vampires is easy...actually killing all kinds of vampires are easy." Layla stated as a matter of fact taking a drink of her vodka.

"What's it to you either way?" Damon asked.

"Because in your plots to find the cure you risk waking someone very dangerous." Kol tried to warn them.

"Oh you must be talking about Silas." Damon smirked as if he'd seen someone fall over.

"What do you know of him?" Kol asked.

"Nothing" Damon snapped. "Don't want to, not our problem." Damon spat.

"Isn't it? A few hundred years ago I came across a group that worshiped Silas, his followers told me that he would rise again and when he did he would trigger the end of all time." Kol informed Damon who remained sceptic on the subject. "You know being immortal you can see why I'm opposed to times all ending. Now here you are willing to raise him in your search for the cure. I can't exactly sit back and let that happen can I?" Kol called out.

"We're not gonna back off just because you've been told one too many scary bedtime stories." Damon bitterly commented.

"Jeremy we were mates in Colorado you're a smart lad why don't you call off this imbecilic treasure hunt?" Kol tried again shoving Damon out of the way.
