THE VAMPIRE DIARIES:

SEASON 6 EPISODES 16-18:

Walking into the college bar Caroline stomped over to her with a wide grin. "Layla Mikaelson you look better in this body. Come to my party tonight, we'll drink and you will forget about your dead brother since I know you don't care about my humanity." Caroline emotionlessly commented and Layla agreed. Later that night Layla was dancing at the rave with Caroline as she was on her 3rd bottle of vodka; turning to the side she saw Stefan and she ran up to him kissing him roughly letting out a manic laugh. "Stefan, there is my boyfriend" Layla loudly called out making Stefan sigh bringing her to the bench. He could say he found it really weird she was in this new body. A human body. But he did like he'd be stronger than her as he'd had enough of her picking him up like he was a ragdoll.

"Layla you need to stop drinking okay?" Stefan asked holding her and she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Razryv veny" Layla called out making Stefan crouch down in pain. She then reached over for a drink but Stefan grabbed her.

"What the hell is going on with you?" Stefan demanded to know.

"Oh my brother Kol died right in my arms, again," Layla informed him chugging a drink she had in her hands and bouncing off as he softened his grip on her shocked. He watched after his grief stricken state. As a witch she was less prone to violent outbursts but as a witch she was potentially more harmful to herself in her grief. When the night came to an end Stefan showed up in front of her with Caroline.

"I turned it off." Stefan informed her with a smirk. Layla looked up at him cheerfully as she slung her arms around Caroline and Stefan.

"I'll be the witch to our group." Layla informed them dancing around with them before Layla and Stefan disappeared to have sex. The next day Layla was standing outside the café waiting for Stefan who showed up 10 minutes late. Finishing off her third refill of her flask for the day Stefan stormed up to her.

"I know I'm late I ran into some complications with the worst humanity free vampire ever." Stefan commented as the two walked off. Layla chuckled taking another swig of her drink. "I've got a plan to get back at her; you are going to create an explosion with your magic while I distract her." Stefan informed her of the rest. Layla sat on the staircase and caused an explosion causing Caroline to be thrown down the room. Stefan walked forward grabbing the wooden railing and walking over to Caroline. "Now see this is how a vampire with no humanity is supposed to react." Stefan stated turning her around and standing over her with a smirk. "Them inflicting actual pain."

"Leave me alone" Caroline struggled.

"Why?" Stefan demanded to know. "You thinking about giving in? Letting go? Breaking code?"

"Stefan stop." Caroline demanded.

"Caroline let go, I mean even my girlfriend Layla has let go and she's human." Stefan let out a loud laugh. Layla then held her hand up boredly.

"Brosat" Layla spoke throwing Stefan across the room and she stood up holding the two in place. "Hm the whole point of your humanity less life is to have fun, I came here to have a distraction from pity stares and drama so let go and have fun." Layla commanded coldly.

"To summarise letting go means being an idiot, increasing your chances of being caught and worst of all actively making choices" Caroline was cut off but being let go of by Layla to which Stefan took advantage off by shoving her into a wall violently. He then pulled Layla with him hushing them before speeding them off. He dropped a glass down which Layla lit and the two smirked and the three sped off. Layla then began making herself another drink as Stefan and Caroline bickered. Walking over to them as they drained the girl Layla leaned in kissing Caroline roughly. Stefan then sped to a bedroom and the three conducted a threesome. The next day when Stefan had turned on his humanity again he returned to Layla sitting next to her on a park bench as she began to smoke a joint.

"You came here to talk to me Layla, tell me what's wrong?" Stefan asked sternly.

"Kol died, he promised he'd be back alive but I don't believe him. I just needed to see you and I wanted to know something. I've been thinking a lot about my past. The last time I felt truly happy. And I thought about it. I love you Stefan that will never change, but I haven't been happy in a long time. I can't be with you anymore. I came here for comfort but you can't change my mind or my grief, not this time. There was once a time you made everything better, but you don't anymore. I like being a witch and I like being a vampire but I need space." Layla whispered sighing.

"I know, I've been feeling the same for a while. It was way over before it even came to our mind. I think your last visit I realised it was over but I couldn't let you go. You've helped me through so much Layla, and I like to think I helped you. You loved me once and I loved you once. You are strong Layla. You've turned yourself cold over the years you've been alive and I knew that the moment I met you. I saw something disgusting because of who your family was. But then I got to know you. The real you. The you without your iron heart. You have a bleeding heart Layla and I got to realise that without your façade you are just too broken from your life. I've gotten to know you and I have gotten to love you and I hope someone comes into your life that makes you feel happy and alive." Stefan whispered holding onto Layla's hand tightly.

"I hope I meet that person as well. You were the best thing that happened to me in 900 years. It's been a good two years Stefan, you showed me the light and I finally embraced it." Layla whispered leaning up placing a soft kiss on him.

"Go back to New Orleans and turn your heart to steel instead of iron and fight for your family what's left of it. I promise I'll come visit." Stefan promised kissing her. Layla then turned away getting into the car and driving off.
