Upon showing up at her apartment the next morning, blood dripped from her whole body and Kol watched her walk in with a frown. "Are you going to see Lucien?" Kol asked with a frown, not making a secret that he didn't like the two together, not after what Lucien did. Layla looked away from him.

"No, not anytime soon. Tell the Hollow I'll do what she wants." Layla ordered turning away from him and she then walked away to the shower to wash off the blood. She couldn't face Lucien, not after what she did to him. Not just yet. Later she walked out of her apartment looking at the text she got from Kol, that he got Rebekah and Marcel trapped and she sped over to the compound when Klaus was leaving and he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"We're going on a field trip sister." Klaus pushed her out of the compound.

"Sounds fun brother." Layla smirked before Klaus stopped.

"Why are you back in your body?" Klaus pestered her.

"It's strong, I'm not much use mortal, especially since Freya is the designated witch." Layla drawled out walking off with Klaus as she felt uneasy about betraying her family like this. She got out her phone texting Kol that Klaus had left the building.

"I've reached my quota for heartbreak this year." Rebekah shouted as Klaus and Layla entered the house and Layla trailed behind Klaus.

"How ironic two of the world's most powerful beings trapped in a magical butterfly net." Klaus called out clearly amused while Layla cast a glanced up stopping.

"They are hardly geniuses Nik." Layla drawled out. "What got you bested?"

"Our biggest mistake today was trusting Kol for one second of our life," Marcel snarled and Layla glanced over seeing Klaus' face flash with hurt and betrayal.

"He's protecting the totem for the hollow." Rebekah informed Klaus.

"And I bet you were in on it Layla." Marcel accused her with anger while Layla remained impassive.

"You really think Kol tells me everything?" Layla snarled back.

"I do actually." Marcel spat.

"Did you know Layla?" Klaus demanded to know.

"I didn't." Layla shook her head but Klaus sped over to Layla pinning her against a wall gripping her throat tightly.

"Do not lie to me. We all know you and Kol. He wouldn't dare keep you out of whatever he was doing. I don't care why he did it, tell me where he is" Klaus shouted gripping Layla's throat tightly and she gasped for air before she grabbed Klaus and sped away shoving him against the wall before moving away.

"He's at the compound." Rebekah called out looking at her map. Klaus then sped away and Layla watched him go sternly. "Why did he do it?" Rebekah demanded to know. Layla glanced over at her sister with a frown.

"She brought back Davina, linked herself to Davina, Kol's just trying to save her and Lucien." Layla informed Rebekah who paused for a long moment.

"Are you on her side as well?" Rebekah demanded to know.

"I don't want to lose him again. And I want Kol to be happy." Layla replied speeding away to go after Klaus who was intent on hurting Kol. Possibly even daggering him. Once she made it into the compound she stood by and watched as Klaus was about to shove a dagger into Kol but Layla sped forward throwing Klaus off and standing in front of Kol. "Nik please hear him out." Layla begged.

"I did what I did for Davina. The hollow brought Lucien and Davina back, I just need a bloody second to set them free." Kol shouted when Klaus got up again and Layla glanced at Kol worriedly. Klaus then sped up shoving Layla to the ground and throwing Kol across the opening. Layla got up shoving Klaus away from Kol.
