"Are you sure?" Elijah asked to Kol's incessant rambling of seeing Fin. As Layla sat down bored to death of the conversation she found herself craving a house full of humans.

"I saw him with my own eyes; he must have come back when Davina did the spell." Kol called out making Layla rub her temples.

"Maybe our dear oldest sister knows something about this? She is the one that has Fin literally around her neck." Layla suggested with a sigh.

"I don't care the only thing I care about is how long I am going to make him suffer before I kill him." Kol called out and Elijah looked to Layla who shrugged.

"I can't say I disagree with him." Layla pointed out with a sigh. Elijah frowned deeply.

"Restrain brother-"Elijah was cut off.

"Sure it's all well and good when you want revenge but the moment Kol decides it's just off the table." Layla sneered making a weird scrunched up mocking face. "And Kol the missing white oak is actually missing and very real." Layla pointed out before Kol said anything on the matter.

"He is luring Klaus' enemies out of the woodwork it's all part of his tedious revenge fantasy." Kol shouted as Freya walked into the room.

"You're wrong." Freya commented with a sigh. "Those rumours began long before either of you even returned." Freya pointed out. "Fin's innocent."

"Innocent?" Kol asked with a strained smile looking between Elijah and Layla.

"Freya you just hit the sleep deprived bear who finally fell asleep over the head with a frying pan." Layla sighed out as Elijah poured her a drink. "Pardon me love but Fin has tried to kill all of us more than once, he is an enemy of our family" Kol spat.

"Not to mention he did kill you." Layla offered and Kol nodded looking to Freya.

"He is family." Freya tried. "Fin's return is an opportunity to mend what's broken and fix old wounds."

"He didn't just drop a blood vase he murdered me!" Kol shouted walking to the other side of the room. "Are you honestly siding with her?" Kol asked Elijah who held his hand up.

"Time again Fin has demonstrated nothing but contempt for this family, how can you be so certain he would return to us in peace?" Elijah inquired.

"Oh sister knows me well but perhaps you're right to doubt my intentions." Fin spoke walking into the room. Layla stood up next to Kol stunned. "By all means lets discuss our family quarrels I believe we're long overdue."

"Oh more than overdue with a few homicide incidents." Layla commented as Elijah walked out for a phone call and Kol tried to start a fight with Fin.

"All these side steps and how you fight is boring!" Kol shouted as Freya looked to Layla for help. Layla held up her hands signifying she'd stay out of it.

"You know for all your flare and flourish couldn't stop you from being bested the last time we faced." Fin taunted causing Kol to shove Freya out of the way. Layla sighed shoving Kol out of the line of Fin. Lucien walked in amused.

"Perhaps we should let them fight they can't actually kill each other." Lucien commented and as Layla let Kol go.

"Calm the fuck down Kol." Layla sighed patting him on the back.

"Behave yourself considering we'll be confined here for the foreseeable future." Elijah informed everyone and Layla looked to him confused.

"I didn't quite hear you." Layla chimed in raising an eyebrow.

"Staycation right now we are all at risk." Elijah informed him with a smile. "So while Marcel retrieves the white oak I say we dispense with all this posturing." Elijah commented. "Get down to some good old fashioned family bonding." Layla ushered Kol to a couch and holding his hand leaning back.

"Look Kol, we need to have peace among the family. I have just as much of a reason to hate Fin as you. He may have killed you but I got to deal with the aftermath. It's not something I enjoyed. Don't do anything to provoke him." Layla tried.

"Why not sister? It's nothing worse than what he has done to us." Kol shouted turning away and stomping off. Hearing Fin's screams later on in the night Layla left her bedroom and saw Kol and Fin fighting. Layla stood next to Davina narrowing her eyes at her.

"You should have just stayed out of family business." Layla spat as everyone walked in Lucien included.

"This isn't your fight" Kol called out.

"I told you to stay your hand." Elijah coldly reminded Kol.

"Fine I would rather take my chances out there with white oak then stay here with you lot." Kol spat throwing the candle away. Kol then walked off and Layla clenched her jaw drawing in a breath Lucien walked up to her rubbing her back. She then took notice to Elijah going to throw the wooden bullet in the fire which caused Fin to grab it becoming burned.

"The little witch has condemned me to his body. To remain a beast, Elijah I can't bare an eternity with no hope of escape." Fin cried out desperately. "Can you? Can either of you?" Fin asked and Layla furrowed her brows looking to Lucien with a frown. She then took his hand and walked with him to her bedroom. The two sat at the couch she had looking into the fire. Layla curled up to Lucien and he brushed her hair back kissing her forehead.

"What's wrong love?" Lucien asked.

"Fin had a point, we have an eternity, I feel as though I've already had my eternity, but to live it with no chance of escape." Layla whispered sternly trying to push back her insecurities. "What happens if one day you die? I don't want to know what life is like without you now that I have you." Layla confessed.

"You won't ever, I promise." Lucien whispered kissing her forehead as she then began to drift to sleep.
