A few nights Layla walked into the bedroom and lived to Lucien placing a soft kiss on his lips. "Does this mean yes?" Lucien asked with a grin.

"After having a lot of time to myself I decided I've spent an eternity with my family. Now I get to spend it with you." Layla smiled leaning over to kiss him. She then shoved her hand in her chest ripping out her heart falling to the ground turning into what Lucien was. Lying down in bed she woke up and saw Lucien watching over her nervously. She looked up at him and sat up with a sigh.

"Why did you take out your heart?" Lucien asked confused. Layla then looked at her heart on the bedside table.

"Symbolism, you have had my heart for a thousand years, I thought it time to make it literal." Layla answered him as she slumped in his embrace. "Can you promise me something?" Layla almost begged.

"Anything" Lucien promised her.

"Promise me one day, we'll have children,"

"Two children, a boy and a girl, twins" Lucien agreed and she smiled up at him.

"Yes and we'll buy a mansion in England somewhere it'll be grand." Layla continued.

"Yes and we'll have a wedding before we move in, I'll move my main office there." Lucien agreed. "Every century we'll have a wedding to continue to show our love will last forever." Lucien offered her and Layla smiled up at him.

"I always thought you were beautiful." Layla whispered stroking Lucien's face and he leaned down placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"I could never bare you thinking me a monster." Lucien whispered.

"I could never think you a monster. I've known many monsters in my life, you do not deserve that name," Layla shared her thoughts as Lucien held her close to him kissing her temple.

"Thank you" Lucien whispered as she drifted to sleep. The next morning she was woken by Lucien shouting. "And I can quite literally hear your eyes roll from across the room." Lucien shouted.

"Why did I come here if you were just going to pick out man jewellery?" The witch asked.

"I got you here for a progress report as I am still waiting for you to get me access to the Mikaelson home since Layla will not attack her own family." Lucien shouted annoyed.

"It's not magic they signed over the deed to the sister you can't get in unless the sister invites you in." He sighed as Layla walked out of the room wearing her black and white checker high waisted skinny jeans and black crop top. "Perhaps I'll lure him out another way." Lucien sighed pressing ignore on a phone that was not his. Layla sped over to him snatching her phone back. "Meet Layla Mikaelson." Lucien greeted her to the witch.

"The ancestors won't be happy about this; they hate Layla almost as much as Klaus." He commented. Lucien then grinned.

"You can go home love. I'm planning a war." Lucien grinned leaning down and kissing her. Layla kissed him back putting on her heels and walking out. She looked around she'd seen her face when she just turned into what Lucien was. When she saw Lucien she was reminded of her first encounter, he thought her monstrosity was beautiful in a way maybe Layla had felt the same about him. As she made it into her home and up the stairs she waited loookign to her family.

"Are we to wait until Lucien slide Rebekah's blood ridden corpse down the hall?" Klaus yelled as the family's eyes settled on Layla who gave him a weary smile. "You, do not think we don't know where you have been, sleeping with our enemy, tell me was it worth it? Cami died because of him." Klaus spat with venom going to grab her throat when her eyes flashed red.
