Four days later Layla walked into the house having just come from tasting cakes with Lucien. He'd taken the wedding thing a bit too seriously as he was preparing flowers, cakes and catering which means blood form people or his own personal stash as it was not unheard of that vampires bottled blood and Lucien was one of them. "She didn't come alone brother" Layla heard as she entered her heels meeting the ground clanking. Seeing the paled look on Klaus' face she sped forward only to see Kol smiling at Klaus. "Now Nik you did go after my girl." Kol jokingly informed him and his eyes then landed on Layla.

"It's Kol when I broke your sire link it created a surge of power." Davina arrogantly informed him.

"You mean the one you used so that you could kill Niklaus, Elijah and I?" Layla asked coldly crossing her arms forgetting the blissful feeling in her chest seeing her brother alive.

"You should be thanking her really." Kol tried walking forward. Layla's eyes set menacingly on Davina before sighing. She then walked forward throwing her arms around Kol laughing loudly.

"I've missed you brother." Layla informed him burying her head in his chest as he held her tightly. "Promise me you won't die this time around?" Layla asked moving away and he grinned.

"I promise death is the last thing on my mind and as a vampire well I a bit more durable." Kol added grinning widely.

"Good asshole." Layla cussed punching him in the arm making him laugh. Everyone watched the two siblings joke around and it lightened the mood. Davina was no fan of Layla but she did wonder how Kol would have reacted if she had helped in getting Layla killed. From what she'd heard Layla was pretty much the only one Kol would never wish harm upon. Klaus then walked forward hugging Kol and the two laughed.

"Hello Elijah" Kol greeted him in a friendly tone.

"You haven't aged a day." Elijah commented making Kol laugh.

"And you?" Kol asked.

"Freya"

"Right long lost older sister." Kol sighed looking between everyone. "Now speaking of twists and turns in our family tree, where might Rebekah be?" Kol asked unknowingly rhyming.

"That is a long story one reserved for family, Davina can see herself out." Klaus commented pointing to the exit and Davina who had a smile on her face looked down disappointed. "As per usual our family faced a multitude of threats the sooner you become acquainted with them the better. I won't have you distracted by-"Klaus was cut off from his angry commenting.

"By Davina?" Kol asked as if it were ridiculous.

"Kol just shut up for a moment." Layla tried rubbing her eyes as she stopped him from going after Klaus.

"Kol it's okay I'll go." Davina sighed as she turned around to leave the building. Kol ran after her kissing her on the forehead. Layla narrowed her eyes for a moment. Layla ran on Klaus' bed as she and Kol began reading through the letters Klaus horded. Elijah showed up into the room not too long later.

"Well isn't this the welcome home? Already at the mercy of Niklaus?" Elijah dryly commented.

"And reading bad literature, I swear even Twilight was better than these letters. I was thinking of throwing Nik a hoarder's intervention for keeping these." Layla commented with a sigh. Elijah chuckled shortly.

"Do you miss being dead yet?" Elijah asked.

"If you quite your endless whining he won't oh and Layla, as if you are any better than me, I keep letters, you keep forms of identification." Klaus spat with a smirk handing Kol a glass of blood.
