We were still in the cave Aphmau still looked at the werewolf lady with cold eyes.
??: he's warming up
Aaron grunted as he woke up.
??: are you awake?
Wow for a werewolf that's a stupid question to ask.
??: still need more rest, i understand. You lost a lot of strength doing what you did. I still don't understand why you chose to do such a thing
I looked over to Aphmau who had a weird look on her face. The wolf lady looked over at Aph.
??: you're still staring at me
Aphmau: hpmh no I'm not
??: you are, your gaze is as bright as fire
Aphmau: th-that's not- i just-
??: a gaze like an alpha, and her calm attitude is like a Beta, (second in command after Alpha's)
Aphmau: huh?
Y/N: attitude?
??: something about your eyes, it's like an alpha, and your attitude is much like the beta
Aphmau: what do you mean?
??: are you both by chance a wolf?
Aphmau: *sigh* I thought this was past me long ago. No... I'm not
??: .... I've had experience with Werewolves before
Aphmau: me too, so if my gaze reminds you of a wolf then it's because of that
??: i see...
Silence filled the cave and the only thing you heard was the crackling fire.
Y/N: you're friends with the wolves here right?
??: i am, you both seem rather calm about it
Aphmau: we heard rumors about the wolves around here but like Y/N said, we've been friends with plenty of werewolves. The werewolves wouldn't scare me as much as a normal human.
??: that's... good
We heard wolves howling and the n the wolf lady gasped. She let go of Aaron and Aphmau ran to him. I stood up from the ground and went to Aaron as well. I grabbed his hands and started warming them up with my breath.
The howling became louder and louder.
??: no... I thought I had more time
I got up and walked towards the lady.
Y/N: what's going on?
??: we need him to wake up!
Aphmau: why?! What's wrong?
??: our Alpha is coming, I'd he finds him or you *points at me* here he'll hurt you
Aphmau: huh?
Y/N: What?
??: wake up, please
Aphmau: what are you doing to him?!
Y/N: Aph! Let her do this, there is no telling what the Alpha will do to us if he finds us here
??: he needs more of my body heat
Aphmau: oh no he doesn't!
~time skip~
It's been minutes and he still hasn't woken up. It took me and the lady's body heat for him to start waking up.
??: he's waking up
