More secks(maybe)"Keith... Keith, hey... Hey, come on, wake up."
The red paladin groaned and rolled onto his stomach. "Fuck off... Get out of my room."
"I'm not in your room."
"Then how the fuck are you touching me, dumbass?" Keith's speech slurred with sleep.
"You fell asleep on the couch in the commons."
Keith slowly sat up and squinted as he stared across the room. He then looked up at whoever woke him. "Lance?" The blue paladin stood up straight. "What time is it?"
Lance sighed. "About three in the morning."
"Why are you awake?" Keith yawned and rubbed away the sleep in his eyes. "You're never up this early."
"I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep." Lance shrugged, hooking his thumbs in the pockets of his jeans.
Keith blinked, looking up into Lance's distant eyes. "You had a nightmare."
Lance smiled weakly, dropping his head. "That obvious, huh?"
The red paladin shuffled to the side, though it may not have been necessary. He patted the spot beside him. Lance's shoulders tensed up, then he sat down. "Galra?"
"Uhm... Kinda. Like, they were mentioned and they attacked but... They weren't in it otherwise." Lance rubbed the back of his head.
"... Earth?" Keith was hesitant to ask, and his gut twisted once the word left his lips. Lance visibly flinched.
"Yeah... Kinda..." His voice dropped to a whisper. "We were answering a distress signal... The planet was pink and purple, so I thought It was just a regular mission... Then we landed and I- it looked just like Earth... Like my home. My house was just right across the street. I went in and... And..."
Lance's breath caught in his throat and tears formed in his eyes. Keith shifted closer just slightly and placed his hand on Lance's thigh. "Your family... Hey, it was a nightmare. Your family is safe on Earth, far away from the Galran."
Keith leaned closer, ducking his head to get eye contact. Lance breathed deeply. "Yeah... Yeah, I know."
The red paladin pursed his lips, then carefully took Lance's hand. "You should probably get back to sleep. Shiro said that Allura has a serious training exercise for us tomorrow."
Lance huffed, but smiled. "Yeah... I just don't want to go to bed just yet. I don't want..." Lance paused, then sighed.
Keith shuffled back to lean on the couch, then patted his lap. "Lay down. Just rest a little bit. You don't have to sleep if you don't want to." Lance glanced back to Keith, then shuffled around until he was laying back and resting his head on Keith's lap. "I... Didn't think you'd actually..."
"You told me to rest. I'm resting. I'm too beat to argue." Lance murmured.
The red paladin smiled, and leaned his head back on the cushion.
After a moment, Keith looked back down to Lance. The blue paladin stared across the room at the wall, brows creased slightly and lips barely parted. Keith bit his lip, hand hovering over Lance's head. After taking a deep breath, Keith slipped his fingers through Lance's locks. Lance's eyes fluttered shut and he sighed. Keith relaxed, carding his fingers through Lance's soft hair.
