Thank for reading my shitThere was a click over the intercom, then music began to play. Shiro chuckled, shaking his head.
Lance laughed, standing up as Katie burst into the room. "Dance with me!" He cheered, and she leapt over the sofa. Lance took Katie's hand and spun her under his arm. They began to sing along as they danced, the other three paladins watching amusedly.
Shiro glanced over as the cushions beside him sank. He grinned and nudged Matthew. "Go dance with her."
Matthew hummed. "I'll just watch. My leg is messed up. I can't dance with her like I used to." Matthew shrugged. "Besides; this is the perfect paladin bonding."
The black paladin laughed softly. "Alright, alright."
Suddenly, the alarms blared and the music cut out. Everyone groaned, slumping.

Shiro chuckled as he approached the youngest paladin. "It's been three years, and you still can't get yourself to bed at a decent time."
Katie blinked, then looked up. "What time is it?" She asked, adjusting her glasses on her nose.
She was just... So adorable, but so sexy at the same time. Her big eyes behind those big glasses with her hair pulled back into a messy bun that drooped on the back of her head. Her freckles dotted her rounded cheeks and over her small nose. His shirt was huge and baggy on her, but her slender, smooth legs crossed over the edge of the chair, almost teasing him.
"It's passed time for a goodnight kiss." Shiro mused, offering his hand out to her.
Katie grinned sheepishly, taking his hand. "Sorry. It's just- I had an idea come to me during the battle today."
Shiro hummed as he lead her away from her lab set-up and into the hall. "Yeah? What was it?"
She grinned and skipped a step. "A time bomb. I've done a lot of thinking about it. It'd have to be set up manually on the ship while I'm hacking into their system, then leave the ship, and it goes 'boom.' I mean, not the happiest thing to think about because it'll be killing people, but... Less Galran ships. Smaller numbers. It'll eventually force them to slow down colonization."
"Sounds cool." Shiro squeezed her hand as she beamed up at him. "Can these time bombs be stopped if you're not near it, but something goes wrong?"
Katie nodded. "Yup. However, only Allura would be able to stop the bomb and from the castle. Just in case the Galra find it."
Shiro nodded, staring, forward thoughtfully. "I don't like the thought of having to kill them... But it'll lower supplies, lower ship count, decrease imperialization- possibly free colonized planets."
"I know. I'm smart."
"You're more than smart." Shiro mused, kissing the top of her head as the door to their shared room opened. "You're an absolute genious."
