I walked into the white covered room. Footsteps followed me as I forced my legs to move forward, one step closer to the woman, chained to her desk, writing away the information she'd received throughout the tiresome day. I approached the girl and handed her a shade of red...
"Hm? Can I help you?" She asked in a friendly voice.
"Yes. I was wondering if you could do a blood test on this?" I asked.
"Oh, well, we normally ask that we extract the blood ourselves for safety reasons....... but I suppose since you've gone through the trouble..." She muttered as she searched through some drawers under the desk.
"I'll need you to fill out these forms and just place the vile in this plastic bag," the girl told me, handing me a plastic bag and a sheet of paper.
Me and Sora, who was accompanying me, went and sat down on a chair.
After examining the gun, Sora and I took the blood vile to a hospital where they'd hopefully give us back feedback on its type and any other information.
"Hey, so what time do you think this will be done?" Asked Sora as I started to fill out the form with my own information.
"Well, these forms should only take a few minutes to fill out. I'm not sure how long it will take for them to get the information on the blood though. Maybe we'll have to wait a few days," I told her.
"Yeah, I guess so. What if they figure out it's not your blood?" Sora asked.
"Mmm... let's just hope it doesn't come to that," I mumbled, finishing off the form.
"That was quick," Sora muttered.
I smiled deviously at her before running off to the desk. I gave the form and blood in and took a deep breath.
"Well?" Sora asked as I walked back to her.
"They said that they'd post me the result as soon as they were ready," I told her.
"Ok, cool. So....... Can I go home now? I've got homework for tomorrow," Sora told me.
"Since when do you do homework?!" I asked in shock as we left the hospital and started to walk down the road.
"How insensitive of you Luka! I always do my homework, I'll have you know!" Sora said way too innocently.
"Aw hah....." I mumbled, not convinced.
Sora never does work. As far as she's told me, she pays others to do her work and just plays video games in the meantime.
"Haha. Oh, and not to mention the head teacher's giving me a hard time cause of the whole "stealing the spare deputy head teachers' key" thing. Moms not giving me my pocket money for a whole three months so I can't pay anyone to do my work! She said if I do one more thing to screw up then she'll be holding back my money for a further 2 whole months! Can you believe that?!" Sora went on.
"Yes. Yes, I can," I muttered.
"Oh, hey, 16 missed calls from mom... whoops," Sora muttered, looking down at her phone.
"You did tell your mom and dad that you were stopping over mine after school, right?" I asked.
"Err... kinda. I think mom's just mad cause dad went out again. He's not a very good mentor~ Haha. Well, anyway! This is me. I'll catch you tomorrow, Luka," Sora said, waving goodbye.
