Let It Burn

Burning. The once standing hospital was now in flames. Screaming filled the dead air as the smell of burning bodies filled the skies with a revolting stench.

A boy stood in the flames with a creeping smile scared on his scaled face.

"Dear oh dear. What do we have here? Did I overuse my powers? Haha!" Laughed the boy.

"This should be enough to limit the survivors to zero and evidence to ashes. Hahaha!" Laughed the boy in amusement.

Suddenly the sound of sirens echoed around the area.

The boy put his finger to his lip and washed away into dust.

A few moments earlier...

"Once we have yours, we won't need her blood. So yes. As long as we can confirm your blood is the same," The man told him.

"So you're saying I won't get the blood until you've completed this thing?!" The boy repeated.

"Yes. How else will we know you're-"

"Sir! He's not Luka's brother! She has no siblings!" Called the younger girl from before as she rushed into the room.

Looks like my choices are now slightly more limited. Ha. At least this way I'll be able to have some fun...

"What?!" Yelled the man.

The boy used his bare hand to pull the machine away from his arm, splattering the gathered blood to the floor.

"Ah well. I suppose it had to come to this sooner or later. But thank you kindly for-"

"Arrest him!" The man yelled.

Suddenly a loud bell burst through the boy's ears.

"Don't interrupt me when I'm giving a badass speech! You just completely ruined the moment!" Complained the boy.

Two men suddenly rushed in, diving at the boy in seconds.

"Screw it," he said plainly.

Suddenly he roared out an explosion of fire into the room, instantly throwing back the man and wiping out all the people there as the fire ran rapidly through the room.

"Haha. It's getting hot in here... so take off all your clothes," the boy sang with a grin.

"Now, as I was saying," the boy continued, walking out the heated room as it exploded right behind him, leaving fire surrounding him as he walked.

"Thank you all so much for confirming that everyone I need to kill is all in one place. That's very helpful because now, less of you die," the boy went on as people ran from the building only to be forced down by an overwhelming gas surrounding the air.

"Oh yeah. I've installed a few bombs and gas triggers throughout the entire hospital. The heat from my burning fire will, sure enough, kill you all, but when somethings exploding behind you, well it just looks so much more badass, wouldn't you agree?" The boy went on, passing a few struggling bodies, gasping for air.

He suddenly stopped...

"Hey, buddy. Correct me if I'm wrong but you work on the computers here right? Your uniform says so otherwise, although it's hard to tell when it's burning up so quickly. Could you tell me where they keep the data codes for the investigation of the impure blood?" The boy asked with a smile to a struggling man, lay on the floor.
