In class...
There! There he is! Yukio's sitting right there! I wonder if he noticed I was away...
"Luka," he suddenly addressed.
"Ah!" I panicked in a whisper as he turned around from his desk.
So he knows my name now?
"Do you have a pencil?" He asked.
"Oh! Urm! Y-yeah! You forgot your pencil?" I asked, handing him mine.
"Nah. I just wanted an excuse to talk to you. You've been away, right? What happened? Rumours going around school that you got involved in some shady stuff," He told me.
Wait... what?!
"N-no! I've just been ill, that's all!" I panicked.
"Oh. Ok. Well, I saw you with that blue haired kid. His names Infinity, isn't it? That's what I heard," Yukio went on.
He knows his name?! Oh no! No no no! This is exactly what Infinity was trying to avoid! What do I do?!
"Yukio! How did you know that?! Who told you?!" I asked.
"You and your friends were talking to him. It's funny, I never really noticed him before," Yukio went on.
Stop it!
"He your friend then?" He asked.
Stop asking questions!
"Luka, are you ok?" He asked with concern.
"JUST STOP IT!!!" I panicked, jumping to my feet.
My face grew darker with the sudden attention on me.
"Luka, something you wanted to say?" Asked the teacher as she stopped writing on the board.
"Y-yes! I need some air!" I claimed.
"Well, I'll excuse you since you sick but don't be too long," she told me.
"Thank you!" I snapped, rushing out the room.
"Don't worry about it, Luka," Infinity sighed.
He was standing outside the classroom, leaning against the wall as I ran straight past him.
"Inf- uh! S-sorry! People know your name... I'm so sorry! I've done exactly what you didn't want me to!" I panicked, bowing my head down.
"It's fine. You think this hasn't happened before?" Infinity asked.
"No...? You said you always kept your identity secret..." I mumbled.
"Deleted files, Luka. That's all. Plus because I'm not a solid figure, only magic, people don't notice me easily. If they ever do notice me, they pass it off as almost nothing. Just another student. What was his name again? Oh well. And just like that, they forget. My human form isn't a real body so I'm not treated like one. When people ask me who I am, they'll forget the second they leave. But it's still so very annoying when people do take notice of me. Since it means I'll have to-"
"Oh hey, Infinity," a passing boy called.
Suddenly Infinity blasted through his body as pure magic! He fell to the ground in seconds.
