Suddenly my phone started to vibrate...

"Hmm? Infinity? Why did you-"

"Thank you..." he mumbled, blush growing deeper on his face as he sat in his brightened room.

On his lap lay a small box with a circular glass sphere placed onto it, shinning millions of stars into the darkness of Infinity's room...

"For what?" I asked.

"The stars..." he mumbled quietly.

"Oh! No problem! I knew you'd like it! I just thought, you always seem to be at peace when looking at them. And recently you haven't been yourself. You've been trying to end your life again... so I thought that this would help remind you that even the darkest of things can still be brightened with a little light," I told him with a smile.

"I didn't think you'd of remembered or paid it any attention... you... you put a lot of thought into it. I... I'm a little speechless. No ones ever done something like this for me... so... I-I... wanted to thank you..." He told me with a stuttering voice.

"Infinity, are you... crying...?" I mumbled, sensing his pattern of stutters and pauses.

"Don't be ridiculous. I don't have such ability... although sometimes I wish I could... uh! Look just! Th-thank you, alright?! Now, g-goodnight!" he stuttered back, ending the call.

"Wh-... was he really that happy about the star night light? I didn't think he'd act like that... I don't think I've ever heard him sound so... emotional..." I mumbled to myself, forming an innocent blush across my face.

Infinity lay on his bed, hand over his forehead, gazing at the many stars that reflected from the night light he'd carefully placed on the ground as the boxes of his harmless poison lay growing dust in the corner of the room...

[Thursday]

"The school bus is here, Luka," Mom called.

"Coming!" I called back.

I rushed downstairs to find Mom waiting to say goodbye. Dad had gone to see Yachel, Echo, and Mei.

"See you tonight, darling. We're going to see Yachel and Echo together for dinner. Is that ok?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, sure," I smiled, kissing my mom on the cheek and waving goodbye as I caught the bus just as the doors were about to close.

"Wait. Yukio?! What are you doing on the bus? I thought your parents took you to school?" I mentioned, seeing Yukio suddenly sitting next to me.

"I didn't want you to be lonely," he told me with a smile.

"Aww," I let out with a small blush.

"Are you still wearing that necklace?" He wondered.

"Oh yeah. I never take it off, haha," I giggled, showing him the chain.

"I'm glad you're so attached to it. Have you put a picture in it yet?" He asked.

"Yeah. One of me and my mom," I told him.

"That's sweet. Your parents mean a lot to you?" He asked.

"Of course," I smiled.

"Hehehe..." chuckled a figure at the back of the bus, wearing a black hoody with what looked like a school uniform underneath...

I ran off the bus and into school. At least I wasn't late today. Mei should be away for a few days... and Sora still isn't back. I guess I should spend some time with Yukio so I can make a decision...
