Ready Set Kill

Charlotte dived at me with a knife at the ready but Kyo released his wings and swept fire at Charlotte, standing in front of me.

"Luka, do you even know how to use your powers?" He questioned as Sora vanished and appeared behind Charlotte when she fell back from the fire. Sora pulled out a gun that formed in her hand like mag- oh yeah...

"Not exactly..." I mumbled nervously.

"She's aiming for the stomach," Mai warned Sora, reading Charlotte's mind to predict the attacks.

"Uh. Honestly. Right! I'll have to make this quick," Kyo told me, throwing his hand in front of me to control my soul.

"Uh!" I gasped with the feeling of no control.

My demon form suddenly released.
Wings of grey sprouted.

"Ah!" I panicked.

"Arms out. Legs straight,"

"WaitWhat-"

Kyo grabbed my waist and lifted me up above the trees.

"Aahhhh!!!" I panicked further in shock and fear of falling.

"Don't worry. I'm right here,"

"Not cool, Kyo!!!" I yelled, clinging onto him desperately.

"Put me down!!!"

"Ok," he said, letting go.

"AGHHHH!!!" I screamed way too femininely as I rocketed to the floor.

Kyo caught me.

"You'll never fly if you're afraid to fall," Kyo told me while I breathed heavily in fear.

I could see Sora attacking Charlotte, shooting her never-ending magic bullets from her gun and disappearing to avoid attacks while Charlotte used her quick reflexes and weapons to give Sora a run for her money, all while Mai communicated to Sora what attacks were coming. However, Charlotte was very unpredictable and a fast thinker, therefore this method wasn't as successful as it could have been. Mai never was a fighter. Instead, she used her intellect and mind reading ability to learn the weakness and attack patterns of her- suddenly Charlotte threw a knife Mia's way.

Her eyes widened just as Sora teleported in front of her but she didn't have time to react. Her arm got cut badly as Mai noticed her ripped clothes and cuts from other attacks, while Charlotte stood unharmed from her magic healing her faster then the attacks could harm.

"Think you could've predicted that?" She asked with a deep tone as a black shadow covered her eyes like an anime character.

"It appears she's too unpredictable to analyse. Sorry, Sora... Mai is useless..." she said shamefully.

"Hey, no worries Mai. I'll cut her into little pieces for ya," Sora smiled, despite her beaten appearance, spinning the knife in her hand as she walked towards Charlotte again.

"Kyo! Can't you use your soul manipulation thing to stop Charlotte?!" I yelled.

"Not before I teach you how to fly, Miss Rose," Kyo answered.

"IS NOW REALLY THE BEST TIME FOR A LESSON?!!" I yelled furiously.

"As good a time as any," Kyo smiled.

"MY FRIENDS ARE DYING!!!" I yelled.

"Then concentrate! Imagine you're falling... but suddenly, you pull back up into the air. The wings on your back are pushing against the wind, using it as a ladder to keep you up..." Kyo told me as I closed my eyes.

"Now, keep imaging in," He continued as I tried to move my wings.

"You're in control, Luka. You've always been," Kyo told me as let go.
