A while later...

I was ignoring my friends calls as they asked what I'd decided to do with Yukio. I just felt so down... how could Infinity just erase everything like that? I thought he was better than that...

"Oh Infinity," Kyo addressed to the regenerating Infinity who lay peacefully on his bed.

"What is it, Kyo? Your breaking in better be worth it," Infinity muttered, not looking directly at him as he simply gazed at his ceiling.

"Don't be so sour, lover boy," Kyo told him.

"What did you just call me?!" Infinity grunted, sitting up to face Kyo.

"You are in love, aren't you?" Kyo asked.

"That's ridiculous," Infinity claimed.

"Oh? Well, that's a shame. Luka will be so disappointed," Kyo chuckled.

"What on earth are you talking about?" Infinity asked in annoyance.

"Just that Luka returns your affection," Kyo told him.

"Impossible. She loves Yukio. Why else would they have been about to kiss? She got so mad at me after I took away his memories of her. He clearly meant the world to Luka. Now she hates me for taking him away from her. Love is out of the question," Infinity flushed, looking away with a bit of embarrassment.

"Oh really? Then what's this?" Kyo asked, dangling a silver locket in his fingers.

"Luka's locket? Why do you have that!" Infinity snapped, grabbing it from his hand.

"Take a look at who's in the photo..." Kyo told him.

Infinity looked confused for a second but slowly looked down as he opened the locket.

"... what...?!" He gasped in shock.

He looked down to see the picture I took of me and him a few days ago.

"As you can see, she was keeping you closer to her heart then you thought," Kyo told him.

Infinity didn't respond but kept gazing at the photo as his face grew red.

"Infinity!!!" I suddenly yelled, knocking on his door.

The winter month had made sure it was dark despite only being around 5 in the afternoon.

I decided to come to see Infinity to ask about Charlotte and what we need to do. I also wanted to apologize for running off after school...

"Uh..." Infinity gasped, hearing me call.

Kyo hummed a laugh as he vanished.

"Luka... why are you here? Aren't you mad at me?" Infinity asked, opening the door just slightly, hiding his faded body.

"About that, I'm sorry I stormed off. I was just... disappointed. I wanted to talk to you about Charlotte though. Before she tries anything else. We have to sort this!" I told him.

"I couldn't agree more. But it's a lot harder then you think. The only way to kill her is to destroy her soul," Infinity told me.

"Ah. I see. So how do we do that?" I asked.

"We can't..." Infinity mumbled.

"What do you mean?" I asked in disappointment.

"Only a soul Demon can destroy a soul," Infinity told me.

"What about Akira? The demon king? If he created the one who created you and Charlotte then surely he can destroy her. He's more powerful after all. He could even... destroy you..." I mumbled, trailing off.
