Miss Killer

I walked back to Mei, Yukio and Kyo. We played the games there for a while until we decided to walk everyone back home.

We were walking down the shops and business, on the sidewalk on our way to my house as Mei got picked up by her Mom after she claimed she felt sick from eating so much popcorn. Yukio insisted on walking us home. Kyo said that he'd join us.

"Luka...? Are you ok?" Yukio asked as I spaced out, staring into a shop that had a big sign above it saying 'Galaxies Treasure'.

It clearly sold things like telescopes, sculptures of different planets and I even spotted something that claimed to be a bit of the real moon. Looked like something you'd find on the streets though. But that wasn't what caught my eye.

"You know it's Infinity's birthday tomorrow," Kyo mentioned.

"Ugh! Wait! Really?! Why didn't he tell me?!" I suddenly panicked.

"Who's Infinity?" Yukio wondered.

"He doesn't often celebrate his years stuck being alive as it's not a celebration to him," Kyo explained.

I gazed at the thing that originally caught my attention.

"Are we going or...?" Yukio wondered.

I gripped my lips together.

"I'll be right back," I told them, running into the shop.

"What was that all about? Someone Luka knows?" Yukio asked.

"Yes. Someone very special," Kyo tormented.

"Oh. Right..." Yukio mumbled.

"What... what did you tell her when you guys were alone after the film?" Yukio wondered.

Kyo smiled.

"That's for me to know and you... well, you can just keep wondering. Let your imagination go wild thinking of all the possible things that could make a girls face go a shade as dark as that," Kyo smiled.

"It's darker then you'll ever be able to make it," he added.

"Have you got some kind of problem with me? It seems like... you have feelings for Luka," Yukio told him.

"Of course I do. Unfortunately, Luka doesn't want me back because she's already in love. But a guys gotta fight, am I right?" Kyo told him.

"Ah... right," Yukio agreed.

"That's what you'll be doing, right? Fighting for Luka. Or are you just tormenting her for no reason? Do you plan to lead her on only to deny her? Hurt her? Tease her endlessly only to reject her altogether? Are you two even dating? It seems like the friend zone to me. She cares for you so why can't you show her some affection in return? Or are you gonna tell me that you're not in love with that amazing girl? You know if you let her go, she'll be taken back very quickly," Kyo told him.

"N-no! Wait! That's not how I feel about Luka! I'd never hurt her! She's been my friend for a while now. I just never looked at her that way before, alright? I've never looked at anyone that way. Luka's the first girl that's ever even suggested the idea..." Yukio muttered in panic as he blushed deeply.

"So do you love her?" Kyo asked.

"I-"

"Sorry I took a while there," I interrupted, opening the shop doors as they closed behind me.

Yukio noticed the bag I had in my arms that held a box that covered the width of my stomach.

"What's that?" He asked.
