"That's... that's horrible!" I mumbled with watery eyes.
"You're crying again?!" He said in panic.
"I'm so sorry! I had no idea of what you'd been through! I-I'm so sorry, Infinity!" I cried, covering my face with my hands.
"Look, It's ok. It's not like it's your fault. Anyway, now you know why I don't want to get any closer to you, can you please just realise that you should stay away from me?!" He questioned.
Tears kept rolling down my face.
"Stop crying, for god sake!!!" He yelled.
I couldn't respond. I was just so angry at myself for not realising the truth behind this boy. I felt so much sympathy for him. I wanted to make him feel happy again! I want to make him feel what it's like to live without the pain!
"I SAID STOP CRYING!!!" He demanded, grabbing my wrist, forcing me to look up at his slightly flushed face.
He paused for a moment but suddenly let go.
"I apologize. From now on, please... leave me alone..." he mumbled, looking at the ground with a sad look.
He turned his back and took a few steps, when suddenly...
I jumped into his back, wrapping my arms around his chest.
"I won't let you get hurt anymore! I promise! I'll find a way to make you happy! Whatever it takes!" I cried out.
"You're definitely her daughter..." Infinity mumbled.
The bell rang in our ears.
"Luka!!!" I heard Sora call from the playground.
I let go of Infinity and ran off.
He stood there for a moment.
"What have I gotten myself into...?" He mumbled.
"Hey, Luka. Where were you? Thought you said you'd meet us outside?" Sora asked.
"Sorry guys. I got caught up," I told them, catching up to them in the corridor.
"Infinity~" Kyo called from behind him as Infinity stood still outside.
Infinity grunted as he rolled his eyes and turned to see Kyo.
"What do you want? If you've come to tease me more then I'll just leave now to avoid you wasting my time," Infinity told him.
"Not so fast now, Infinity," Kyo addressed.
"You've told Luka quiet a lot about yourself, have you not? Does that mean you're planning to kill her anytime soon?" Kyo asked.
"No. I told you, I've left that life behind me," Infinity told him.
"Oh but Luka is a little bit of a threat now, is she not? She is, after all, just another human," Kyo told him.
"Tst. That's not true and you know it. Why didn't you tell me, Kyo?" Infinity asked.
"I thought it would be more fun for you to find out by yourself, Infinity," Kyo teased.
