Where Are You Now?

Infinity.... is kissing me!

His lips passionately pressed onto mine as I accepted his surprisingly gentle touch, wrapping my arms around him.

We departed, still in a warm hug.

"Uh....! I-I'm sorry, Luka... I didn't ask for your permission to do that... I'm so sorry," Infinity told me with a red face, seeming very embarrassed.

"N-no! I-it's... it's ok..." I mumbled.

"It... it is?" Infinity mumbled, blushing even more.

I nodded, still filled with embarrassment.

Infinity slowly approached me once again, a lot more shyly this time as I made no attempt to stop him. He kissed me again, this time gently and softly.

"I... I think... I may have fallen for you, Luka..." Infinity stuttered.

"I... I have too... I was trying to figure out why I didn't feel the same about Yukio. Why it didn't feel right anymore. Why I felt so angry with you when you hurt yourself. And it turns out, trying to get closer to Yukio just made me realise how much I care about you!" I told him with a smile.

Surprisingly, Infinity smiled back, in a shy and cute way. I think that's the first time... I've seen Infinity genially smile because he's happy. Seeing that smile just makes everything I've been through feel so worth it to get to this moment.

"I-I'm sorry I was so cold to you... and pushed you away... I know I'd be lying when I said it was just to protect you... truth be told, apart of me just wanted to protect myself... but... no matter how hard I tried to fight it... you pushed through the hardship and tried harder then I've ever seen anyone try to fight for... for me... for worthless me... you did so much... fought so hard... and all I did in return was make it harder for you to break through, meaning you just got hurt more trying... I apolo-... I'm sorry... Luka...." Infinity mumbled with red cheeks as he tried to avoid eye contact.

"It's ok... I did what I did because I wanted to. It was my choice. I knew I wanted to save you... I believed in you, Infinity! And I still do! We can get through this together! This time, without destroying yourself would be nice," I mentioned.

"Right... It seems I worry you a lot. I've been selfish! I'm sorry, Luka!" Infinity apologised.

"Hey, it's ok. This is why I kept trying. So that you might just understand one day..." I mumbled shyly.

"And I'm glad that I do understand now. I was trying to tell you too! To tell you... that... I wanted you to keep trying! To save me! Because to be completely honest, I was willing to do whatever the hell it damn tuck to keep you from getting hurt trying to save me! I'd die for you, Luka!" Infinity let out.

".... but would you live for me?" I asked.

"Ugh...!" He gasped.

"... erm... it's... it's getting quite dark. I'll walk you home, ok? It's too cold for you to be outside," he told me.

"Ok. Thanks, Infinity," I smiled warmly.

"So you're telling me you only wanted a picture so you could put it in the necklace?" Infinity asked.

"Well yeah. Yukio said to put someone special to me in it... so... I thought of you..." I told him

"Well... why didn't you tell me? I'm sure I could have managed a smile at least if I knew it was that important to you," Infinity mentioned.

"Well... do you want to take another one?" I asked.

"I'm... not against it..." He mumbled, a little flushed.
