"Since when are you so interested in protecting me, Infinity? Why are you even here? Were you following me or something?!" I ordered to know.
"Why don't you ask those three?" Infinity asked, pointing to Mei, Sora and Kyo.
"Oh hey, Luka! Didn't see ya there! You're out for a walk here too?" Sora questioned nervously.
I growled at them as I gave them a sour look which made them all turn tails and run.
"Is Yukio gonna be ok?" I asked.
"Unfortunately, Yes. Give it a second and he'll get up again. I had to delete some memories of what happened a second ago and that's not something you'd forget easily so it had a stronger effect on his unconsciousness," Infinity told me.
"Didn't you say you couldn't control everyone's body? And you'd turn them off so their breathing would even stop?! Is he breathing right now?!" I panicked.
"Of course. He didn't have magic in his blood since he's a normal human. So I'm able to take perfect control of him. Anyway, how's your date going?" Infinity asked.
...
...
...
"What?" He asked, seeing I was twitching in annoyance.
"OH, IT'S GOING JUST FINE!!! NEVER BLOODY BETTER THANKS TO YOU!!!" I screamed at him as I continuously punched his arm.
"You're not hurting me, Luka," Infinity told me.
"Grr!!! You've completely ruined my date! Do you even realise how important this was to me?!" I demanded to know.
"I saved your life. You should thank me rather then complaining. If anything you should blame these pitiful creatures," Infinity insisted, pointing at the creatures he'd slay.
"I could've handled it!!" I claimed.
"I very much doubt that. How would the ever so reliable Luka it handled this then?" Infinity asked.
"Grr!" I pulled out a knife from my bag.
"Uh... why are you carrying such thing around?!" Infinity asked, tone firmer then before...
"I always carry one to protect myself so you don't have to worry and do it for me!" I yelled.
"You're just like your mother. Yet I still ended up protecting you while you stupidly used a stick instead of a knife to defend yourself," Infinity pointed out.
"I was panicking!!!" I cried, leaning my head on his arm, tired from trying to kill him.
"You're pathetic," Infinity told me.
"And you're mean!" I cried.
"You're point?" Infinity questioned.
"Why do you keep sticking around, trying to protect me, when you clearly don't care?! You're always so moody and mean to me! Yet your actions speak differently. So who's lying?" I asked.
"You really are an interesting individual, Luka. Maybe that's your answer," Infinity told me.
"So... I'm curious to you? Like you said that night..." I mentioned.
"Curiosity is one aspect of it, I suppose," Infinity replied.
"Is that why you haven't left this world yet? You said about doing work with the angels. Surely there're other things you can do if you're bored of a high school life. It's clear school has no value to you. So why do you stick around?" I asked.
