I leaned over to see her page. Right on the page lay the following words...

"Hmm? Oh sorry! Wrong one. Haha," she mentioned, turning her page.

I quickly diverted my eyes. She... wants to kill me, doesn't she? What did that even mean?! Is she trying to tell me that she's going to try and kill me and that would cause Infinity to hurt himself again? Why is everyone trying to hurt me? What did I do?

The bell rang and I made my way out of the classroom when suddenly...

"Agh!" I squealed as I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

"Haha. See how easy that was? Tell Luna that her weakness has been exposed!" A voice told me as I spotted the face of Charlotte behind me.

Please tell me this pain isn't what I think it is...

She pushed passed me in a casual manner.

"She... she stabbed me!" I panicked, seeing my own knife on the floor and the pain of blood gushing out my back.

How did she know I had that in my bag? How did she even get it without me realizing?! I only had it for my own protection. Does this serve me right for bringing it to school? But with everything that had been going on... I... I just wanted to try and protect myself...

"Uh!" I gasped, falling to the floor.

I heard footsteps coming my way...

"Luka-"

...

"Luka...!"

"LUKA!!!"

"Luka! What happened?!!" Infinity ordered to know.

My eyes opened to find I was in Infinity's bed with a bandage folded around my back and stomach under my top. Wait... did he.... take my top off to do this?!

"Infinity..." I mumbled as I tried to sit myself up.

"It was Charlotte, wasn't it?!" Infinity snapped.

"Charlotte... I don't know why. She just... she stabbed me...! How am I still alive?!" I asked as my eyes tried to focus on Infinity and avoid the spinning I was seeing.

"You're a demon. The magic in your blood regenerates your organs and keeps you alive. You could get stabbed in the heart and still survive," Infinity told me.

"How am I here?" I asked.

"I saw you lying there so before anyone was able to notice, I teleported you back here and tended to your injury. You did it for me after all... and don't worry. I didn't see anything. I just pulled your top up from behind to wrap the bandage around. The most I saw was half your bare back," Infinity confirmed.

"Ok... so why did... Charlotte do that?" I asked.

"She's... like me. She was created by my creator, Eclipse. Charlotte was made from a soul as well though. That gave her more personality and the ability to act like a human. She attempted to kill the members of your family once before, as Puna was a target. But it backfired and she disappeared. I assumed she was somehow destroyed or had left to lead her own life. Turns out she was still hung up on revenge. Then after Eclipse was destroyed, I was found by Luna and one of her friends and we  fought. There was no victor but I ended up joining her family after seeing her desperate fight... I found such motivation and emotions curious and wanted to develop my understanding of them. So I let myself into the family and soon began to learn how to understand human emotions etc. But Charlotte never came back... and now she's here. She knows by now that she won't die from killing Luna. Yet, she's using her as revenge because Luna was the reason that our creator, Eclipse, was destroyed. I think Charlotte just wants to get payback after all these years so she's using you to get her revenge..." Infinity told me.
