The Real Confession

[Friday]

Today... I have to decide how I really feel about Yukio. I love him. I like him as a friend. Which one is it? And what about Infinity... I'm starting to think I might have fallen in love with him. He means so much to me. I feel like he's opened up so much to me since I first met him when he even refused to give me a name. But... I don't wanna hurt Yukio.

"Luka darling! Come on. Breakfast is ready," Mom called.

"Coming," I called as I got my things together to leave for school after breakfast.

At school...

"Luka..." Infinity mumbled as I walked to class.

"Hmm? Oh hey," I greeted him.

"How's Yukio...?" He asked.

"He's... ok. Why?" I asked.

"He's going to confess his love to you today, right? And then you'll decide if you want to date and officially be boyfriend and girlfriend, yes?" He asked.

"Yeah..." I mumbled, trying to get him to explain his point.

"Do you know what you're going to say?" Infinity asked.

"Oh don't worry. I won't need you to help me out or anything with your whole mind voice thing. I can handle it,"

"No! That's... not what I meant. What I'm asking is... will you accept his confession?" Infinity asked me.

The bell rang so I decided to give him a small smile as I wandered off without a reply, leaving him in the dark.

"You're not the only one who can be mysterious," I mentioned.

Infinity sighed with a hint of annoyance as I made my way to class. He trailed behind as he headed to his own. As he passed the open door to my classroom, he noticed that a certain someone wasn't there.

"... where's Charlotte...?" He mumbled.

"Hahahaha," laughed a girl outside.

"So you plan to do it today? Don't you think it's a bit dangerous at school? Killing her in her sleep seems much easier," Kyo mentioned, talking to the girl.

"What fun is that? Anyway, I don't want to kill her. I just want to mess with her until Luna steps in. Besides, I've got a feeling that Infinity cares for her a little too much. With my plan, it will prove if my assumptions are correct," Charlotte told him.

"I see. So tell me, are you single?" Kyo asked with an innocent smile.

"Ugh," Charlotte grunted, walking away.

I sat in class, half asleep from the lecture our teacher was giving us.

"Hmm?" I mumbled when suddenly Yukio gave me a note.

'Have you made up your mind on my proposal?^-^'

That's right. Yukio hinted that he wanted to date me. I still feel so unsure about it though. I don't wanna disappoint him but...

'I need to think about it some more, Yukio. Meet me after school as planned, ok? I'll give you an answer then :)'

I passed back the note.

He glimpsed at me and nodded with a smile.

After class...

I sat with Yukio eating some lunch as I text Mei and Sora in a group chat.

Sora:
You're gonna confess
to Yukio?!

Me:
No! Yukio has already
confessed. I'll give him
an answer after school.
