Fair Well Homework

[Thursday]

The sound of my alarm rang in my ears. I woke up to what I thought was a normal day.

Getting ready, I came downstairs, half asleep. However, my attention was soon caught once I heard a voice from the TV. The news was on.

"And as you can see, the hospital has been completely burned down after yesterday's attack. The police have reported the sounds of unusual activity around 18:00 last night. No survivors have been detected and there's a current search team out to investigate what could have possibly happened here last night," a newswoman explained as she passes the message on.

"We have erm discovered traces of some strong chemical activity under the damage of the hospital and a lot more then you'd normally expect from a hospital. This may of in fact caused the fire. We're not sure what exactly was happening here but whatever it was, it should have been done somewhere much more safe, away from the hundreds of patients in hospital beds. On the other hand, this could have been the work of terrorists or other groups of dangerous people wanting to course some trouble. The amount of families affected by this has been outrageous," said a police officer.

"What exactly do you think they were working on in the hospital to course such a danger?" Asked the newswoman.

"Could be many things. It's hard to say really. There's no way we can really know for now," replied the policeman.

"Kyo! He did this!" I raged.

"How could he take so many innocent lives?! How could he- ... wait. Oh no..." I mumbled.

I reflected back on the conversation Kyo and I had yesterday...

"I'll get rid of all evidence of the information. Unfortunately, the information is already found and under investigation, therefore, it will be a difficult job. Fortunately, this sort of thing is my specialty. I'll make easy work of it," Kyo reassured me.

"What are you going to do?" I asked.

"Something similar to what your friend, Sora has planned. You should take her claims more seriously," Kyo mentioned.

"Sora's going to burn down the school?!" I suddenly yelled.

I quickly grabbed my bag and rushed out the door.

I ran down the street as fast as my legs could take me. Some people from my school were walking in the opposite direction though. Are they heading to the hospital? A lot of people must have had family there. And most people from school would be very interested in seeing this kinda thing.

I need to get this stupid idea out of Sora's head! Is she seriously gonna set the school on fire?! And when?! Damn it she never said when! I didn't even ask! I'm so stupid!!!

Meanwhile, at school...

"Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm," mumbled Sora with a smile on her face.

It was about 15 minutes until lessons would start...

She calmly walked into a food technology room and casually took a match from a draw. Then she walked out to find some students walking around, on their way to class. Her smile remained as she arrived at the school library. No one was there. Or so it seemed. She sat down and started to pile up books to look like the school. Some girls came in with giggles but rushed out again once they saw Sora hiding in the corner.
