Someone was attacking me!

The figure trapping me let go as I fell forward and hurried to turn around as I scurried back as far as I could to my wall.

"Charlotte?!" I gasped.

"Leave me alone! What do you want?!" I panicked.

"Hahahahaha! Oh, darling, you look so scared. How precious. Good to know that you understand how threatening I can be," she told me with a smirk.

"Why are you trying to threaten me?! Is it because you want to kill Luna?" I asked.

"No. It's because revenge is sweet and I've had such a sweet tooth recently," she answered.

"A- what?!" I questioned.

"Well, I suppose what you said is true. I'd love to be able to kill your mother, haha. It used to be very hard to kill her you see as she had so many damn protectors and hardly anything to lose. But that's changed now," Charlotte laughed.

"I don't understand why you're after my mom though! Why were you and Infinity created to kill Luna? Was it because she doesn't have the full blood of a demon? Infinity told me that. But that was years ago. Why are you still after her now?!" I questioned.

"Darling, why don't you just ask Infinity himself to answer all these petty questions? You do realize that he's just protecting you so he can use you to kill Luna, right?" Charlotte told me.

"Wait. No! That can't be true! Infinity would never use me! He doesn't want to kill Luna at the price of his life! He wants to give up his life, yes, but not for the cost of another!" I yelled.

"Ha. You're as simple-minded as your mother!" She laughed.

"Don't talk bad things about my mom!" I yelled.

"Why not? It's not like she's been lying to you all your life. Oh, wait. She has!" Charlotte giggled.

"Out of my own protection!" I corrected her.

"Protection that she got plenty of as a child. Pathetic really," Charlotte told me.

"If my mom really is a target then why haven't more people tried to kill her yet?" I asked.

"Because a few hundred years ago she was taken of any vampire blood; the thing that cost her all the protection she could get from Akira," Charlotte told me.

"Then revenge is the only reason you're still trying to kill her? If she's been alive for so long, what's stopped you from killing her up till now anyway?" I ordered to know.

"Well, I've been rather busy. But like I said, Luna has protectors to defend her. But now she has a daughter that's completely defenceless... hahaha! I'll finally be able to complete my life purpose!" Charlotte laughed.

"So you can only die once you kill Luna? Is that why you're doing this?" I asked.

"You think I wanna die, newborn? Ha! Nope! That won't kill me. This is simply revenge!" Charlotte told me.

"Revenge for what?!" I questioned.

"For killing my creator!" Charlotte claimed.

"Luna didn't even kill her!" I told her, assuming what Infinity has told me was true.

"No. But it's because of her that she's gone! Because someone dear to Luna decided he no longer wanted her alive! Eclipse gained independence, you see and so figured out that protecting Luna as her life purpose was kinda shit. She rebelled against her creator, Akira, and tried to kill your stupid mother. But noooo suddenly Akira couldn't allow for that. So he destroyed the girl he created because he was scared that she'd actually kill the girl," she explained.
