Erased

The Grenade got closer as Charlotte began to laugh and Yukio's face got closer to mine, leaning in to meet my lips.

"LUKA!!!" Came a sudden voice as a split second changed it all.

As the grenade got seconds always from exploding right by me and Yukio, Infinity jumped past us in a spin. He held his two swords that helped him create the spin. However, as his first sword swept past me, the impact made my necklace jump up just as the second sword caught it and sent it flying off me right before Infinity bashes both swords together to shield us from the impact of the grenade as it went off, forcing Infinity into me and Yukio.

"Oh dear..." Kyo mentioned carelessly.

"I... knew it!" Charlotte gasped with a smile.

"Infinity...? What happened?!" I panicked, getting up from the impactive fall.

"You're ok?! It's ok! You're alright," Infinity repeated to himself with a pant as he held his arm.

"Are you ok?!" I asked, seeing blood roll down his skin as he made the two swords disappear.

"I'm fine. The impact just made the blade get too close to me. I'll be fine," he told me.

"Luka? What... was that? Are you alright?" Yukio asked, holding his head as he sat on the cold floor.

"Luka... please forgive me for this..." Infinity mentioned.

"Huh?" I replied in confusion as Infinity looked at Yukio.

He suddenly disappeared as Yukio lost consciousness.

"Uh! No! Infinity, come back! Don't erase his memories! He won't tell anyone! INFINITY!!" I panicked as Infinity reappeared next to me.

"I'm afraid I had to take rather large precautions. It's just... as long as Yukio is in love with you, the more danger he'll face. Charlotte tried to attack you just now. And guess who was used as a distraction. It's for the best that while you're in danger, you don't have anyone else tagging along. Especially a human..." Infinity told me.

"Wait. What do you mean...? Infinity... you didn't..." I mumbled with a stutter.

Yukio picked himself up unsteadily.

"Yukio!" I called.

"Ugh... my head hurts. Oh. Is that the time? Why am I still in school? Geez. I better go," He complained to himself.

"Wait! Yukio!!!" I repeated, grabbing his arm.

"Hmm? Erm... do I... know you?" He asked with concern.

My eyes lit with fear.

"Yukio... you don't remember me? But you... just moments ago..." I stuttered with a high voice as tears filled my eyes.

"Sorry. I think you've got me confused. I have to go though. Sorry. I hope you find who you're looking for," He said with a smile before walking away.

I fell to my knees as my lips departed in shock to watch the boy walk away. He didn't remember me? Not even as a friend?! He's been my friend for so long... he's been my crush for so long... I finally managed to clear everything up with him! And now... he doesn't even remember it... my existence... has been deleted from his memory...!

"Luka... I'm sorry. It was for the best. Now that he doesn't know you, he won't get hurt by anyone trying to hurt you. Understand?" Infinity asked.

"NO!!! No, I don't understand! Infinity, why did you have to take Yukio away from me?! He's been my friend for years now! Even if we didn't know each other that well. He was still my friend. You couldn't have kept those memories at least?! Why did you have to take everything away?!" I snapped in tears.

"Uh Oh. This is unexpected..." Kyo mentioned, seeming very amused as Charlotte spun a knife in her hand with a smile.

"Because If Yukio remembered you then he might fall in love again. It's best that he's kept completely out of the picture to avoid danger. He won't get hurt now," Infinity told me.

"Since when did you care about a human life?!" I ordered to know.

"Since you cared for him," Infinity replied.

I gasped for a moment but soon let more tears slip down my cheeks.

"I'm going home," I told him, turning my back.

"Luka! Don't just go. I know I've made you mad so please don't leave without me trying to apologise. Please, what can I do to make up for it?" Infinity called.

"You've done enough!!! Just leave me alone!!" I cried him as I ran off.

"Uh! Luka...!" Infinity hesitated, feeling something uncertain run through him.

"... I've let her down..." he mumbled.

Meanwhile...

"Hmm? What's this? Haha," giggled Kyo to see a silver locket lay open on the grass.

He gazed at the people inside.

"How interesting..."

"Charlotte!!!" Infinity yelled at Charlotte as he jumped to the roof.

"Oh well hey!" Charlotte greeted him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Stop trying to kill Luka! Your motives are completely ridiculous and I've already warned you about the consequence of harming Luka!" Infinity growled.

"You love her, don't you?" Charlotte smiled.

"I- do not!" Infinity snapped with a small blush.

"Blushes don't lie, honey," Charlotte teased.

"Don't mock me..." Infinity grunted.

"Too late, dumbass!" Charlotte insulted him.

"You're dead!" Infinity roared as he got out two slicing blades as his eyes lit red.

"Bring it on, ghost boy," Charlotte smirked, getting out a single knife.

Charlotte ran at Infinity with her knife as Infinity spun up in the air (tilted sideways), spinning two swords that just missed Charlotte. She turned as Infinity dived the powerful impact of the swords into her single knife. Infinity soon kicked the knife out her hand right before punching her hard in the stomach, causing her to fall off the building as she disappeared and suddenly darted a sharp dagger at Infinity from behind (she teleported behind him). Infinity ran at her in his wolf form, grabbing the knife with his teeth and breaking it in his mouth. He clawed at her as Charlotte kicked the wolf back. Infinity growled as he jumped onto her before Charlotte got out two more knives, digging them into him. Infinity backed off her in his human form, bleeding from his stomach. He didn't pay attention to the pain as he was used to it but instead shot at Charlotte with multiple attacks, zooming past her at different angles with master speed as Charlotte carefully avoided damage.

"AH!!" Infinity roared, pushing himself at Charlotte as he managed to cut her cheek.

He dived to higher ground of the school roof as Charlotte followed.

Smoothly. He swooped in bellow Charlotte with his sharp swords as Charlotte jumped up to avoid damage, landing on the sword as Infinity used that to trip her over as he pulled the sword back up, right before she stabbed his sword down right to her!

She vanished in seconds, appearing again at the very top of the school roof.

"Ha. I'm bored now. Time to die!" Charlotte laughed as she threw another grenade up in the air as Infinity jumped up to get it, wanting to avoid damage to the school.

As he leaped up, Charlotte grabbed his leg and forced him down with a lot of impact, causing the tiles of the school roof to loosen and break. Infinity rushed to his feet as Charlotte kicked him down and punched him multiple times, pushing him closer and closer to the edge of the roof.

"NO!!" Infinity yelled, teleporting to catch the grenade as he held it to his chest, exploding loudly.

"Ha," Charlotte laughed, disappearing from sight.

Infinity had vanished. His body was destroyed once again. The school wasn't damaged though. Some teachers and students came out to see what the loud noise was but could see nothing to proof of the activities that took place.
