[Thursday]
I sniffed up to see sunlight shining through the window.
So... what now? No school because I'm ill. Pff. I'm not that ill-
"Uh!" I gasped, falling to the floor as I got out of bed.
My head felt dizzy. How can I be so weak? It was only rain... geez. Well, then again, I did pass out for a moment. What happened? Everything went dark before I hit the water.
I picked myself up, holding my warm head.
"Luka," a familiar voice greeted me.
"Kyo! What are you doing in my house?!" I panicked in suprisment.
"What so Infinity's allowed in uninvited but I'm not?" Kyo asked.
"Tst. Why are you here, Kyo?" I asked.
"To check on you of course. You look a little unwell. I do apologize. I can't help but feel a little responsible for your illness," Kyo claimed.
"Yeah... well, it was your stupid idea to provoke Infinity the other day," I complained.
"And how's that 'stupid idea' working out for you?" Kyo asked.
"Infinity broke down... I think... the pressure finally got to him. I agreed to stop trying to save him on the condition that we could still be friends," I told him.
"So you're going to use this time to regain his trust? Work out what's going on inside his mind? Maybe take a small break from all the drama and just talk to him. But I do think I helped clear things up for you, Luka. You must be convinced that he wants you to save him by now, no? Tell me, what did Infinity do when you were in danger?" Kyo asked.
"He saved me... but how does that mean that he wants me to save him? He clearly wants me to stop trying. It's why he broke down. All the pressure I was forcing on him finally broke him," I mumbled.
"Trust me, Luka. He was broken way before you ever came along. That brake down was a sign," Kyo told me.
"A sign of what?" I questioned.
"A sign of the times," Kyo told me.
"Uh. Stop quoting blood brothers," I sighed.
"Anyway, you really shouldn't give up just yet. Continue this path and you'll see that he's a lot different then you think. There's a lot more to uncover about him then what he's been tricked or forced into telling you," Kyo told me.
"Kyo... I thought you said that if I threatened to hurt myself in front of him, he'd understand how I feel so won't hurt himself. But... he still... he still continued to rip himself apart yesterday. I just think it might have been pointless," I mumbled.
"Ha. Don't worry. It definitely wasn't pointless. You see, Infinity converted himself into pure magic the second you jumped off the bridge. He then transferred himself into you, turning you off in a way as he was controlling you. Although he's not able to control everyone. Including you. This meant that when he did attempt to, your body no longer had the power to hold the knife and so you couldn't continue to make the cut. Once you'd fell in the water, Infinity transferred himself into his human form to save you and give your lungs air as he wouldn't have been able to control your body's breathing if he stayed transferred in your body," Kyo explained.
"He... can do that...?" I mumbled in amazement.
"Wait but hang on. You said a long time ago that you didn't know a lot about Infinity! It seems like you're a little more informed than you first lead me to believe," I mentioned.
"Indeed, I have been learning like you. It's not that I've been lying; it's only that I understand how to connect the dots a lot better than you. I'm like the puppet master if you will. I'm helping you understand to understand Infinity to figure out exactly how he works," Kyo explained.
"Right..." I mumbled.
"But how does any of that prove-"
"It's slowly killing me to see you try," Kyo interrupted.
"Huh?" I mumbled, words sounding familiar.
"Infinity told you that it was slowly killing him to see you try and save him. Don't you understand? Infinity sees death as the ultimate freedom he's been waiting for so long. He wants the pain. He wants to sweet release. For someone without a soul to say that, it's awfully odd, don't you think? He practically admitted that you were making him feel like he did, in fact, have a soul in order to of suggested the idea that he could die. That's the proof that you do have an impact on how he feels and what he wants," Kyo explained.
"... he doesn't have a soul so can't ever die because he's practically dead already... So saying I'm slowly killing him... is... like saying the opposite? I'm slowly giving him life because he can't really die..." I mumbled, a little confused.
"Exactly. So don't give up. You're going to take it easy for the next few days though, aren't you?" Kyo asked.
"Yeah. I need to rest," I mumbled.
"Of course. It's very dangerous for Infinity to of took control of a figure he can't actually control. Your soul and body weren't functional for a few seconds. That's why you're feeling a little dizzy now. You may find yourself randomly pass out a few times or get lost in your mind more then you should. You might feel a little out of it but it should wear off by Monday," Kyo told me.
"Ok then. Thanks, Kyo," I sighed.
"No problem at all!" Kyo smiled.
He suddenly disappeared into thin air.
All this time I've been trying to figure out Infinity but... I think I need to consider figuring out Kyo too...
My thoughts were distracted by Infinity, stood in my room before he'd jumped in through the window.
"Whatever happened to it being improper to stay in a ladies room?" I questioned.
Infinity didn't answer but simply vastly placed his hand against my forehead. He frowned then suddenly pulled me up from sitting down. I stumbled to my unstable feet as I used my hands to get a proper balance.
"Your minds not functioning at the same speed as usual. You're dizzy, Luka?" He questioned after observing my clumsy actions.
"A little," I mumbled before Infinity pushed me back down.
"Uh! Hey!" I complained.
"Rest. I'll get a hot water bottle," he told me.
"Where's Sora and Mei?" I interrupted.
"How should I know?" Infinity questioned.
"Well, have you been to school already? It's 9 in the morning. I would have thought they'd come to see me again to check I was ok after yesterday's interruption. Have you not been to school yet or did you stay here last night? I know you were there... why were you watching me? You know that's classed as Yandere stalking, right?" I went on.
But my response was a closed door.
I pouted in annoyance.
"You're so rude, Infinity!!!" I called out in frustration.
"What's so curious about me?" I asked, under my breath.
"A lot of things, Luka..." came a voice from the door.
I lifted my head up in suprisment to find he hadn't gone yet. But I soon heard him step down the stairs. He seems to be acting... a little... differently lately...
