Scott and Mitch end up setting the family dinner to Saterday. Both of them are off and so are all of the kids. It's easy to get Zoey and Asher to want to go, according to Mitch it's harder to get Blake to come. Mitch  got a reservation at a really nice steak house. The food ends up being the only reason Blake agrees to go.

Asher got his cast off so he's running around the house like a maniac when it's time to head to the restaurant. It takes Scott a good ten minutes to grab and calm his son down. Once Asher is reasonably calm, Scott helps him into the car and then starts heading towards the restaurant.

Scott holds his sons hand as they enter the restaurant and smiles when he spots Mitch. The brunette is talking to Zoey, which gives Scott the perfect opportunity to scare his boyfriend. Scott sets his hands on Mitch's shoulders, maki n sure to use just enough force to scare Mitch without hurting him.

Mitch let's out a yelp and turns around, his frown disappearing when he sees Scott. Mitch knows that he won't be able to stay mad at the blonde. They share a quick hug and then Mitch gets them their table. Zoey, Blake, and Asher all sit in one side of the table while Scott and Mitch sit on the other.

The couple holds hands under the table while Scott helps his son order. Scott and Mitch had decided to tell the kids once their food had arrived. They figured it as enough time to answer all of their questions, but not enough for everything to go wrong. Scott was just a little nervous, he hadn't even been this nervous when Kayla had met his parents.

He guessed that Mitch was just more important to him. Plus he really cared what Asher thought of Mitch and any other relationship he might have. Mitch gives Scott's hand a small squeeze when he spots the waiter coming over with a tray of food.

He drops everything off and Mitch glances at his boyfriend. Scott then clears his throat before speaking. "Kids, we actually have something we've been wanting to tell you guys..."

"Scott and I are dating." Mitch says, bringing thier connected hands to the top of the table. "We didn't want to tell you guys until we thought that it was serious. We've been together for long enough now that it's getting serious."

Zoey had a large smile on her face when she speaks. "I knew that there was something between you guys! I knew that I wasn't crazy, Blake."

The couple shifts the gaze to Blake. Mitch was the most worried to see what his son would think. Blake had never been one to hide how he felt, that's why he was worried that Blake had a completely blank face. The brunette glances at Scott, having no idea what to do.

"Blake, what do you think about this?" Scott asks, worried that Blake will lash out at him. He hasn't ever really spent quality time with the teenager. Scott didn't know what would set him down.

"I'm going to go get some air." Blake mutters, standing up from his chair. He rushes outside and the rest of the table watches him rush out of the restaurant. Mitch's eyes widden and he looks to Scott, hoping the blonde will know what to do.

"I'll go talk to him." Scott says after a moment.

"Are you sure?" Mitch asks. "I don't want to ask too much of you..."

"Then it's a good thing you didn't ask." The blonde says, a small smile on his lips. He places a soft kiss on his boyfriend's forehead before standing up from the table and following after Blake.

Scott exits the restaurant and looks around, spotting Blake leaning against a brick wall. The teens hands are clenched into fists and his breathing is uneven. Scott can tell that he's visibly upset. The blonde takes in a deep breath before walking over to Blake. The time to make an impression on the teen is now or never.
