"The case will only last a little bit longer, babe." Mitch says, holding Scott's hand as they walk back to the courthouse from lunch. Kevin had been happy to give them space and eat at a different table. He understood that Mitch was the only one that could relax Scott.

"I know." Scott says, running a hand through his blonde hair.

"We can get through this, Scott." Mitch says. "And I just want you to know that no matter what happens I'll stand by you."

"I know you will, Mitchie, and that means the world to me." Scott says, smiling down at his boyfriend. They reach the courthouse and go to their room. Once they're there Mitch, sadly, has to say goodbye so he can sit in his seat.

Kevin gives Scott a reassuring smile and then the judge walks in. Just like that the case starts again. Scott answers some of the questions the judge throws his way, but Kevin takes the majority of them. Scott is more than grateful for it too. By now he's too nervous to form coherent sentences.

"Ok, we'll take a thrity minute recess and when we come back I'll make my decision." The judge says. Scott leans his head back and starts taking deep breaths in. Scott only opens them when he feels someone sit in his lap.

"Scotty, you're stressing over this way too much." Mitch says, his familiar voice soothing. Scott opens his eyes and meets the golden brown orbs that he's learned to love. "How about when all of this is over, we grab all of the kids and go anywhere you want for dinner. It will be my treat."

"That sounds wonderful, Mitchie." Scott says, a small smile creeping onto his face. Scott  wraps his arms around his boyfriend, securing Mitch on his lap. "I really couldn't do this without you though."

"You've helped me through more than you know, Scott."

"I love you." Scott says, letting the words slip from his mouth. Before Mitch can say anything the judge enters the room again. The brunette heads back to his own seat, his mind filled with a million different thoughts.

Scott can't focus on the judge as he starts talking. All he can think about is Mitch and what he told him. Scott knows that he loves Mitch, he just can't believe he told him at a courthouse. When Kevin taps Scott on the shoulder he's forced to focus back in.

"He's making his final decision." Kevin whispers, giving Scott's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. Scott looks towards the judge and waits for him to speak.

"With the power in vested in me," he starts. "I declare that Asher Wyatt Hoying, will continue living with his father full time."

The courthouse arupts into noise and Kevin claps Scott on the shoulder, this time with a large smile on his face. Scott stands up and turns around, searching for only one person specifically. When his eyes land on Mitch, Scott rushes over towards him.

"I love you too!" Mitch yells, wrapping his arms around Scott's neck. The older boy laughs and brings his boyfriend closer to him.

"I was so nervous that I had scared you off." Scott says. Mitch pecks Scott on the lips and texts his head on Scott's built chest.

"You'll never be able to scare me off, Scotty." Mitch says, softly. "Well, since you win I think it's appropriate to celebrate with alcohol and friends."

"That's a great idea."

"I was hoping you would say that, becauseI already invited a bunch of people over."

"See, and this is why I love you." Scott smiles. "Well, let's go get our party on!"

What do you guys think about some smut in chapters to come? I can't guarantee will be great though.
