As soon as Mitch left for work the next day Scott had called a family meeting. Since all the kids and Scott were injured they were taking some time off school. The kids were more than a little confused as to why Mitch wasn't apart of the meeting. But they all sat down on the couches anyways.

"Ok, let's get started." Scott says, clapping his hands together. This only made the kids confusion increase. They could all see how weird Scott was acting. He was sweating like crazy and his hands wouldn't stop shaking. "So, I want to ask you guys an important question and I want your true feelings on it."

All the kids nod and wait for Scott to speak up again. When he doesn't Blake decides that teasing him sounds fun. "Scott, it's ok if you're gay. We've all seen you secretly watching RuPaul's Drag Race."

"I'm not gay, Blake." Scott laughs, shaking his head fondly. He smiles a little and calms down. Blake's joke definitely helped him relax a little bit more. "No, I called this family meeting because I want to ask Mitch to marry me."

Scott is surprised that he managed to get it out at all. He had been so nervous about the kids reactions that he had almost forgotten how to talk. Yet Scott somehow got through it and was now waiting for a response. Zoey's mouth is hanging open, Blake's eyes are wide, and Asher is eating a bowl of cereal.

"Uh... You guys are kind of starting to freak me out." Scott says, rubbing the back of his neck. Without warning Zoey flings herself at the blonde and tackles him onto his back. She then wraps her arms around him and hugs him like there's no tomorrow.

"Oh my god! You have to ask him, Scott! If you don't I might kill you." Zoey says, still hugging the blonde. He smiles and hugs her back. Scott then moves to that he can see Blake's reaction. Scott's more than happy when he sees Blake grinning.

"For once I have to agree with my idiot of a sister." Blake says, chuckling at the glare he receives from Zoey. This then has a huge grin appearing on Scott's face. After sharing a hug with Blake he remembers that Asher hadn't spoken yet.

Scott turns to his son. "What do you think about all of this, Ash?"

"Can I have another bowl of cereal?" He asks, looking down at his empty bowl. This makes everyone laugh and Scott nods.

"Of course you can sport." Scott says. Asher nods and runs off to get another bowl. The blonde then shakes his head and looks back to the twins. Zoey had moved back to her door next to Blake.

"When are you going to ask?" Blake asks.

"This weekend." Scott says. "I just need to get the ring and we'll be all set."

"Where are you going to propose?" Zoey asks. Scott was happy that they seemed to care about this. He had been nervous that they would say no. Scott would never go against their wishes. He knew that much couldn't be truly happy without his kids behind him.

Scott smiles and then goes to answer her question. "I have the perfect place in mind, but i'm going to need y'alls help to pull it off. Everything has to be perfect."
