Scott walks over to where Blake is standing. The teenager let's out a loud groan when he sees Scott approaching. The blonde knows that he can't chicken out. He needs to talk to Blake. Scott loves Mitch and he refuses to lose him because of a teenager. He knows the Mitch cares more about his kids then his own happiness. Mitch would do anything for them, including breaking up with Scott.
"Blake, I want to talk man to man. Right now we're equals, ok?" Scott says, walking closer to the dark haired teen. "Whatever it is you want or need to say to me, just do it. I love your dad, Blake. If there's a problem between you and me, I want to fix it."
Blake is quiet for a moment. He doesn't even look at Scott, he just keeps gazing off into the distance. "We don't have a problem, Scott. I just don't want to see him get hurt again."
"Blake, i'll never hurt your dad." Scott says, not a hint of anything but the truth in his voice.
"I bet that's what the bastard that got him pregnant and then left said." Blake says, anger filling his voice. "He just had to wait for my dad to get comfortable. I can't see him get hurt again. It nearly killed him the first time."
Scott had never really thought about what Mitch had gone through. Now that he was thinking about it, it only made scene that Blake remembered how his dad had taken it. Scott didn't plan on leaving Mitch anytime soon, if he ever would. The blonde was hoping that Mitch would be the only other person he ever dated.
"Blake, I love your dad." Scott says, hoping that the teenager will hear what he has to say. "I can't garentuee that we'll always be together, but I can garentuee that I won't his leave him. I love you dad so much. I can't even put it into words."
Both men are quiet for a of couple seconds. The tension is high and Scott feels himself becoming in comfortable. He's determined to stand his ground though. There's no way he's going to let Mitch slip through his finger tips. Scott's about to speak again when Blake beats his to it.
"I will admit my dad seems really happy with you." Blake says, running a hand through his hair. "I've never been in love before, but I am a good judge of character. I want to give you a chance Scott. His know that if you hurt my dad, it won't matter that your twice my age or stronger than me."
"I wouldn't have it any other way." The blonde says, an overly large smile tugging on his lips. Blake finds himself smiling as well and they walk back inside of the restaurant together.
Which is the first to notice that they're back he might have been staring at the door the whole time, wondering what was going on out there. He smiles when he sees both Scott and Blake smiling. Mitch had been worried that it wasn't going to end well between them.
"Is everything ok?" Mitch asks, immediately grabbing Scott's hand with his own.
"Everything is just perfect." Scott smiles, placing a kiss on Mitch's knuckles.

After dinner everyone heads over to Mitch's house. For once Blake seems to be enjoying Scott's company. The blonde Makes sure to include him in the conversion, doing the same with Zoey and Asher. Keeping Asher interested in the different topics is a small feet on it's own.
"We should have a movie night." Zoey suggests. The two adults share a look and Scott shrugs while Mitch smiles.
"That sounds like a great idea." Mitch says. He grabs Scott's hand and pulls him into the living room, smiling as the kids follow them. They all plop down on the couch and Zoey comes in a couple minutes later with three large bowls of popcorn.
Scott gets a movie ready and smiles as everyone gets settled in. He sits in the middle of the couch, having Asher's head in his lap and Mitch's head on his shoulder. The blonde wraps an arm around his boyfriend and grabs one of Mitch's hands. Blake and Zoey then sit on the floor, having a playful argument about the pillows and who should he the extra.
"Is everyone ready?" Scott asks, pressing play once everyone yells out some kind of positive response. As the movie starts Scott finds himself extremely comftroable. He's always been a family man. He thinks that he might have finally found his true family.
