"Where are you taking me? I feel like we've been waking for ages." Mitch says. He was currently blindfolded and being led to an unknown destination by his daughter.

"Just chill out dad." Zoey laughs. "You've only been walking for a few minutes. This should be worth it though."

They continue to wall down the hallway in silence. At the other end of the building Scott and Blake are rushing around his classroom. It had seemed like the best place for Scott to propose. It had been the place were he had first met Mitch.

"Ok, uh, you finish lighting the candles and I'll spread out the rose pedals." Scott says, already starting to rush around the room again. Blake nods and continues to do the job assigned to him. "Thanks for helping me out, Blake. It really means a lot."

Blake just smiles and finishes lighting the candles. Scott was just hoping that there were no there teachers here. He technically  wasn't allowed to light candles in any of the classrooms. Making sure everything was perfect was more important to Scott at the moment. Luckily the two boys are able to finish setting the room up before Zoey can arrive with Mitch.

Blake looks over to Scott and smiles. "Don't be nervous, Scott. There's no way he'll say no. I've never seen my dad smile so much before. You really do make him happy."

Scott smiles at Blake and walks over to hug him. They stand like that for a few moments before there's a loud knock on the door. Scott's eye widen because he knows that this is the cue. Mitch is standing right outside of the door and he know this is now or never. There's no more time to waste on trying to make the room perfect. Scott hurries to get on one knee in the middle of the room.

He's kneeling in a bunch of rose petals with the candles surrounding him. Him and Blake had really managed to transform his classroom into something special. All the lights were off and the blinds were shut, causing the candlelight to be the only source of light in the room. After a few tense seconds the door opens. Zoey then leads Mitch inside and closes the door, joining Blake on the other side of the room.

"Ok, you can take the blindfold off now." Zoey says, looking at Scott and giving him a large thumbs up. He grins at her and looks back to Mitch. Scott's nervous hands end up finding the small box in his jacket pocket.

"Why does it sound like you're so far away? I swear if someone jump scares me, I will be grounding someone." Mitch warns. Scott has to bite his tongue to keep from laughing. Mitch isn't supposed to know that he's in the room yet. When no one responds to him Mitch sighs and moves to take the blindfold off. It takes him a few moments to realize what's going on, then he let's out a very loud gasp.

"Come over here, baby." Scott says, smiling like an idiot. Mitch slowly walks over to him while looking the entire room over. There are already tears starting to gather in his eyes. Scott just hopes that they're happy tears. Mitch's hand comes up to cover his mouth when Scott pulls the small, velvet box from his pocket. The brunette can barely process what's going on, there are just so many thoughts and emotions coursing through him.

"Scott... What are you doing?"

"Just let me talk, Mitchie." Scott says. He takes a deep breath in before speaking again. "I met you in this classroom, Mitch. When we met I was still married and being with someone else was the last thing on my mind. The second I saw you, I knew that you were undeniably beautiful and that I wanted to get to know you better. At that moment in time falling in love with you hadn't even been on the table."

Scott continues, watching as tears start to well up in Mitch's and a smile spreads across his face. "Then Kayla told me we needed to get a divorce. I was a total mess when we next saw each other. And you just told me that it would be fine and that you would help out in anyway that you could. Everyone always offers to help out, but when I dropped Asher off for the first time I called you and you actually came over."

"I think that was the moment for me when I was certain that you were someone special. You stayed with me and we talked and laughed and you comforted me. I kissed you that night and it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I asked you out that night and you said yes. That was the beginning to our wonderful relationship and every day after that had been brighter for me." Scott says, wiping away a few of his own tears. "So, Mitchell Coby Micheal Grassi, would you continue to make my days better by becoming my husband?"

"Nothing would make me happier." Mitch says, smiling through the tears streaming down his face. Scott smiles and pushes himself off of the ground. He then slides the ring onto Mitch's finger and pulls him close. Their chests press together and their hands automatically find each other. "I love you more than anything else in this world, Scott."

And with that they kiss and it's like nothing else exists.
