"Who's ready for a movie night!" Scott yells, trying to get the kids pumped up. Really the last few days had been an emotional roller coaster. They all just wanted to relax with each other. It had come to their attention  that their little family wasn't invincible.

"Me! Me! Me!" Asher says, jumping up and down while running around the living room. Neither Scott or Mitch had the heart to tell him to stop, but when Zoey made her way to the living room he instantly stilled his movements. This made everyone raise an eyebrow.

"What's up, Ash?" Scott asks, crouching down to his son's level.

"Why does sissy have a cast on her arm? Is she ok?" Asher asks, his voice sounding small for a moment. Scott can't help but smile that he called her sissy. Maybe they were becoming a family. Luckly Scott knew just what to say to put Asher at ease.

"Zoey's going to be just fine, bud. Do you remember when you broke your leg and Mitchie had to put the cast on it?" Scott asks, waiting for a nod before continuing. "Well, it's like that only she broke her arm."

"So you'll be ok?" Asher asks, now looking directly at Zoey.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be just fine, Doodles." She says, using the little nickname she had given him. Asher was always drawing some sort of picture for her, so it had just seemed appropriate. "How about we cuddle during the movie?"

Asher nods happily and pulls Zoey over to the couch. He then crawls into her lap once she's sitting, lays his head on her shoulder, and then let's Zoey rest her head on his. It's all so perfect and sweet that Scott and Mitch can't help but stare.

Scott manages to carry three bowls of popcorn over to the couches. "Ok, so are we ready to get this party started?"

"We're still waiting for, Blake."

"No you're not!" Blake says, appearing from the bathroom with a smile on his face. He looks over at Asher and Zoey and fakes a frown. "Is there any room for me over there? I'm always down for a cuddle session."

"Are you sure you're not gay? Because that sounded like something dad or Scott would say." Zoey teases. Blake jokingly punches her arm and then sits next to them, smiling when Asher rests equally on both of them.

"Just saying, i'm bi." Scott says, joining his boyfriend on the other couch. Everyone laughs at that and he grabs the remote to start the movie. Mitch cuddles up to his side while making sure that he won't touch his boyfriend's injured shoulder.

On the other couch the kids eat popcorn and make quiet jokes to each other. Scott and Mitch can't help but look over every once and awhile. It was absolutely heart warming at how well their kids were getting along together. Sometimes it took a shitty situation to pull a family together. It was moments like this where Scott was sure he had found his soulmate.

He knew now that what he had with Kayla was nothing. At least compared to what he felt with Mitch. Kayla had just been a bridge he had to cross. Without her he would have never come out of the closet or had a little boy. Scott didn't regret things with Kayla for even a moment. He believes that being with her was necessary for everything else to fall into place.

As Mitch nuzzles farther into his side he let's out a content sigh. This is exactually where he was supposed to be. Scott knew that now, he knew that Mitch would be the last man he was ever with. Everything with him was perfect. Even the bad stuff was perfect and Scott could no longer deny that. He had to stop pushing away his feelings for this man.

He needed to stop worrying about what would happen and just do it. He needed to his be with Mitch. Scott didn't want to have to find someone else to date. He didn't want to ever have to introduce another man to his son. He wanted Mitch to be his one and only. In this moment Scott had made up his mind.

He wanted to marry this man.
