Magnus pulled on a shirt and buttoned it up. He and Alec were going out for another date even though they were together. It was an excuse to publicly drink and talk about things and show the world that a shadowhunter and a downworlder could be together and it not be weird.

Alec pulled on a jacket and walked to where Magnus was stood, wrapping his arms around the warlocks torso and hugging him tightly. "Hey biscuit. You all ready?" He smiled, Alec nodding as he let go of Magnus.

They were debating on portalling or simply walking, it was a while away from Magnus' loft but the walk would be relaxing. They were going to the Hunters Moon, the bar held and mostly inhabited by lycanthropes along with the odd seelie, shadowhunter, and the less than welcome vampire.

"Portal, Mags, I'm too tired to walk." Alec chimed in before Magnus unlocked the front door. "Are you sure you want to go, then? If you're that tired." The glittery warlock winked, patting Alec's chest.

"Magnus, come on, I'm lazy. I just want to get there." Alec groaned, looking down at Magnus who always seemed to have a smile on his face when Alec set his eyes on him. "Fair dos, Alexander. You win." Magnus clicked his fingers and a pulsing transparent portal appeared beside Alec. It looked like a whirlpool of crystal clear water and when Alec stepped into it he was thrown out at the entrance of the Hunters Moon. Magnus stepped out after and closed the portal, gesturing for Alec to walk in with him.

Before Alec could push the door open Magnus twined their hands together, and thought he could see a blush on the apples of his shadowhunter boyfriend's cheeks.

As soon as the two stepped through the threshold they were met with a glare from a table of werewolves seated next to the window. "Hope your boyfriend here knows this place isn't for the faint of heart. Bar fights, blood." One taunted, and Magnus swore he heard Alec snarl at the lycanthrope.

Magnus shook his head in dismissal and walked with Alec to a table on the other side of the room from the hostile wolves, gesturing for Alec to sit as he went and got drinks. When he got back he placed down a toxic looking drink, a cocktail that had an iridescent tint to it. Sure, it was beautiful but the bartender wasn't Maia and he could just imagine the guy behind the bar spitting in his drink. This was a downworlder bar. It wasn't for shadowhunters although the odd one did go there every so often.

Magnus seemed to be a regular and was known by all the visitors. He was met with a smile and maybe a handshake or a hug, but all Alec got was glares.

Alec smiled awkwardly and sipped his cocktail as Magnus sat down and admired him. Magnus really couldn't get enough of Alec. He was one of the people that couldn't be painted because his face was so perfect that the artist was bound to make a mistake sooner or later.

"Alexander. Tell me, are you scared of being here? So many creatures who could kill you, and you don't have any weapons?" Magnus set his glittering martini down on the table. "No, Magnus. I'm not scared." Alec hummed, sliding the fluted glass across the table so he could see Magnus and not have anything in his peripheral vision to distract him.

"Ah, so manly." Magnus winked, patting his own purple glittery hair. "I just have belief in my own strength, Mags. I know what to do." Alec slid a hand over the table and gripped one of Magnus' hands, holding it loosely.

"I have belief in your strength too, Alexander." Magnus winked again, earning a blush from Alec who was remembering the activities from the previous night.
