"Did you see his new video?"

"No did he upload yesterday?"

"Yeah, that's why I'm asking, dumb shit."

"Language, girls." Alec rolled his eyes, flicking through his register. "Sorry sir." The two girls said, before going back to chittering. Alec picked his phone up from his desk and sent a quick text to Magnus.

Alec: You need to stop uploading during exam week, the kids won't stop talking about you or how your sponsorship with morphe is 'incredibly vogue-worthy' xx

He tutted to himself while sending it, looking up to see a band of his students looking at him. "What?" He asked, putting his phone down. "You only make that noise if you're grumpy, sir." One girl, Anna, said from the front seat. "I'm not grumpy." Alec scowled, smiling a little. "You're very grumpy." Another girl said from the seat next to her. Alec thought working in an all-girls school would be easier than this. "Enough, get your books out-" Alec started, being cut off by the obvious sound of his phone vibrating against the desk. Every girl in the classroom veered to look at who it was, but Alec managed to snatch his phone up and look at the notification first.

Magnus: but they love it, and you do too you can't lie. I'll postpone the next video but only because I checked your schedule and it's the English Lit exam xx

Alec let out a huffed laugh. "Who is it sir? Your boyfriend?" A student asked, sitting right in the middle of the classroom. Her name was Moira, and she knew Alec was very happily married; if the silver band on his left hand was anything to go by. "My husband, now get your books out, page thirty-seven." Alec smiled, putting his phone away and picking his book up. Jekyll and Hyde was a pain in the ass to revise from, but Magnus was an even bigger pain.

"Sir?" A student broke off from her friends to run towards Alec, who was sipping from a mug labelled with Magnus' YouTube logo. "Do you watch him too?" She, Laura, asked, pointing to his mug. Alec laughed. "Sometimes. This isn't mine though, it's my husband's." He explained, holding it up, now empty, to show the 'MB' scribbled on the bottom. "Ah, thanks sir!" She said before running back to her friends. Alec still didn't know why he taught at that school.

"Alexander." Magnus whined, Alec shaking his head and tucking his face into Magnus neck. "Do I have to?" Came Alec's muffled voice. "You've worked there for years. No backing out now." Magnus laughed warmly, fingers slowly rubbing down Alec's back. "They talk about you all the time and I can't join in? You're my husband Magnus." Alec looked up, hair a bird's nest atop his head. Magnus lifted his hands to cup Alec's face softly. "You can tell them, you know. I know you haven't been in my videos a lot because you don't like being in the limelight, but that doesn't mean you can't tell others, especially your students." He smiled, watching Alec smile back. "I'll think about it." He said, before tucking himself back into Magnus' space. "Nope- get up, the train comes in an hour and you owe me a cup of coffee." Magnus laughed, watching Alec groan as he rolled away from Magnus and off the bed.

"I bet he went to that fan sign he had last year, the gold in the background definitely matched the gold Magnus had at the photo booth."

"Probably."

"Girls- would you care to educate the rest of the class on what is so important that you have to interrupt my reading of The Incident Of The Letter?" Alec sighed, perched on the edge of his desk with the book in question in his hand. The two girls, May and Agnes, froze in place before rapidly shaking their heads. "Are you sure?" Alec hummed, crossing one leg over the other. The girls kept shaking their heads.
