Song ~ AKMU - Melted

Magnus smiled, and took ahold of Alec's hand. He looked at him for a brief second before feeling himself heat up moderately. Alec had that sort of effect on him.

He felt a weird vibration and suddenly was kissing Alec, Magnus' lips slick from lip balm and Alec's slightly chapped from not caring to take care of himself. They were holding each other, Magnus' hands on either side of Alec's face and Alec's hands resting on Magnus' hips. They weren't next to the bar anymore, they were sat in the loft, on Magnus' sofa and the TV was playing quietly in the background.

Magnus felt another jolt and no longer had his lips stuck to Alec's. The two were swaying around the living room, to a sort of slow song, hands relaxed on both bodies. Alec was looking down and smiling to himself. Magnus tried to speak but all that came out was oxygen.  Nothing he said was heard by Alec or himself.

A flash blinded Magnus and he and Alec weren't in the kitchen. This kept happening. He'd have one moment with Alec, then he'd be snapped to another. He couldn't talk, or move his own body, it was like he was trapped in a memory. He was watching Alec in the training room of the institute, his eyes gliding over his boyfriends form as he shot his bow.

Magnus was jolted once again and was left stood at the bottom of an altar, walking up the aisle with his arm in Raphael's, his vampire 'son' who he'd always been there for. There would be no one better to give him away to Alec. He ended up stood opposite Alec, Isabelle, Simon, Clary and Jace stood behind Alec and Luke, Maia, Raphael and Meliorn behind Magnus. They said their vows, and when they kissed after exchanging the rings, Magnus was moved again.

He jumped this time when he felt the vibration. He was smiling with his forehead against Alec's as he held heir first child. A shadowhunter boy, Raphael. Alec's eyes were glued to the mop of brown hair on his head, and shining. Magnus had deja vu. He thought that somehow he had been through this before. He saw Alec crouch and lean forward to plant a soft kiss on Raphael's temple, the baby stirred in Magnus' arms but rested against his chest after a while.

He was blinded again, and kind of annoyed at the fact that even though he got used to the sudden jolts, they still came as a shock. Magnus was now leaning over a cot, his arm in the bassinet that held a small blue baby. It could be no other than Max. He looked to his left and saw a young brunette boy sticking his hands in between the bars of the cot, his sausage fingers brushing against the white lace of the cradle. This was when him and Alec first got Max, little blueberry. Raphael wouldn't stop trying to hold him or brush his tiny hands over the expanse of baby soft blue skin. Magnus felt tears well up in his eyes then he was gone.

He was back in the institute now. He was holding the now toddler Max and watching as Alec trained Raphael, the two holding identical wooden knives. Alec jumped from left to right, jabbing at the boy who was around the age of twelve. Alec was still as beautiful as ever. Raphael feinted going Left and swooped right, jumping on Alec who caught him and held him close. The two turned to Magnus as Max started to cry. Magnus silently hushed the toddler and watched as Alec and Raphael walked from the training area.

Magnus felt a rush of water through his ears, it could've been blood too, and found himself in bed, under the sheets with Alec, their two children curled up between them, Max huddled up to Alec's rune-scarred chest and Raphael's arms stretching to clasp around Magnus' back. One of Alec's arms was cradling Max's back and the other was running through Magnus' hair. Magnus' left hand was rubbing Raphael's back and the other was resting on Alec's hip.

Magnus heard the rushing water again  and was at Alec's bedside. He had a eighteen year old Raphael and sixteen year old Max beside him, the blue skinned boy now tan like his father. A glamour of the skin wasn't as difficult as expected. The two brothers were holding hands tightly and the sounds of breathing were drowned out by the drone of a heart monitor, the beeping driving all three to insanity as they looked down at Alec.
