•SADIKU•
"Sadiku, you know mother isn't going to allow you to come back home to the colony until you've done the job." Said my brother, Omari. He walks up from behind.
I sat on top of a grassy hill far off from the Pride Lands territory. I can spot the massive rock formation. Zebra and many other animals are grazing by. The cool morning wind blows through my dark brown mane.
"Yes, I am aware of that Omari." I say. "I couldn't do anything with that lioness blabbing her mouth to everyone there. She clearly have snitched. I heard some of the animals talk about me. I can't just appear. They'll report me to the King. I have to think of something else...I just don't know what."
Omar sits down next to me. He snorts, "Well, you better think of something quick. Mother is getting very impatient. Which is why she told me to come join and help you."
I roll my emerald green eyes. "I don't need help." But then, I hatched an idea and smile. "Although brother, you could be a good distraction to the Pride..."
Omari, not liking idea, backed away from me. He shakes his head, "Oh no, I know what you're thinking Sadiku!"
I nod. "Yup, live bait!"
"You've got to be kidding me! Um sorry, but I want my life thank you."
"Come on Omari. I won't let them hurt you. I just need the lionesses out of the way so I can get to the King and Queen without anything stopping me."
Omari groans. "I suppose..."
I smile wide and hug him. "Ha! I knew you would help. We shall wait a few more moments. I'm sure they are just now waking up or eating breakfast. This will work..."
I growl smiling evilly. Omari scratched himself from flies.
"I hope so and what do I get in return?"
"You can have my dinner tonight?"
Omari smiles. "Deal!"
I start walking down the hill leaving Omari quickly behind. "No time to sit around. We need to get closer!"
Omari leaps up to my left side. He jumps up and down excitedly like a pup. "Oh boy! This is going to be good."
Oh it will be...
When we made it to the Pride Lands, Omari and I moved fast through the tall grasses in case someone could have spot us. We're now close to the huge tall rock formation. For some strange reason it makes my back crawl. I get a weird feeling like I have been here before. But I can't seem to remember.
Suddenly I hear nearby voices. Omari and I had admittedly took cover behind two big rocks. It's two lionesses and three males.
One male is large, muscular, with light gold fur and paw markings, maroon colored nose, light brown eyes, and a full red mane. The second male is much taller and muscular. His fur is auburn with a full dark brown mane just like mines. Odd? His eyes are emerald green too with a black nose. I am assuming he's the King here. The third male seems to be much smaller and younger than the two. He has bronze color fur, salmon colored nose, grey eyes, and a full desert color mane.
The two lionesses seem to be related like sisters. They both share the same bit of features. The first lioness is slender fair and a bit bigger than her sister. She must be the oldest and the Queen. She has light peach-ish fur with reddish brown eyes and a purple nose. The second lioness her sister, has dark tan fur with colorless paws, teal colored eyes, and a brown nose.
They're all walking up the huge tall rock.
"Humph, royals..." said Omari, while rolling his eyes.
"How can you tell?" I whisper.
"Well the red head, dark head, and those two lionesses are just by the way they're talking and walking. That younger male isn't clearly."
Wow, I didn't even pay attention to all of that...
"Interesting. Probably just a visitor..."
"Yeah. But any who, what's the plan?"
I try to think. Then I hear playful laughter that interrupted my thoughts. I look ahead seeing three cubs play fighting.
Perfect!
"You see those three cubs there, Omari?" I ask, pointing with my paw.
Omari squints his eyes and nod. "Yeah, what about them fur balls?"
"You go in ore tending to attack and chase them around. The lionesses will hear their cries and come to the rescue which will distract them away from the Pride. Once you've done that, I will quickly go up the tall rock and find the King. Sounds like a plan?"
"Sounds like death to me. But okay, I will try."
"If your stuck, just yell for me for help. I'm sure you'll be fine though."
Omari gave me a thumbs up. "Got ya brother!"
Omari crouches down waiting on me to signal for him to pounce. The cubs run now to play in the tall grasses away from the Pride which is even better.
3...2...1
"Go!" I shout.
Omari growls and pounce over the rock we were hiding behind all this time. He race up to the cubs surprising them. They all scream with fright and sprint off.
"Hey, get back here you little fur balls!" Omari says.
"Help, help!" They cry in unison.
I stay put waiting for the lionesses. One of them shows up and hear the cubs call. She has fawn color fur (meaning yellowish tan), maroon colored eyes, her nose is black unlike the others. Its shaped thin and curved downward on either end just like mines and the King's.
"Adia, Chauna?!" She calls, panicking.
She must be the mother. She admittedly takes flight with the lionesses fast behind her tail to the rescue.
The plan is in motion...
Now it's time for me to move. I quickly pace up the tall rock formation and growl.
I am coming for you, your majesty...
"Who are you?" Asks a voice.
I stop at the top and look behind me seeing an old lioness. She has creamy fur, light muzzle and underbelly, brown nose and teal eyes. I instantly growl at her and show out my claws. I don't need anyone to stop me. So I try to attack her by swiping my paw. She jumps backwards and gasp.
"Kiara, Kovu!" She calls out.
"Mom!" A worried voice calls.
Running out of the cave is the King, Queen, and the red head lion. Behind them stands the dark tan lioness and the bronze fur male. The King instantly pins me down.
Finally, we've meet...
