Lasercorn

I had a great time with Lex tonight. It was so much fun after we left Mari and her boyfriend. Wes demanded for us to tell him everything when I brought her back. I left and went home and realized I left my phone there. I started back and when I got there I heard screaming and fighting. There were sirens close by and I got scared as I made my way inside.

I walked in and saw Alexis on the floor looking almost lifeless and her brother beating the shit out of someone. I ran over to him and pulled him off. The guy was already pretty much out of it. He had a bloody nose and many bruises on his face.

"What the hell happened?" I asked. "Alexis answered the door assuming it was you getting your phone and then he showed up and choked the shit out of her. I got her right as she passed out. I would've probably killed him if it weren't for you coming." He says.

"Who is he anyways?" I asked. "By the way he looked. Ya know before I beat the shit out of him I think its her boyfriend." He told me. "The police and paramedics are here." He peeked outside seeing the flash of red. We told the cops what happened and the paramedics took Lex and we rode with them.

We informed everyone about it in a group chat. Everyone seemed extremely concerned amd wanted me to keep them posted on how she's doing. We slept in her hospital room Wes let me take the couch and he slept on the floor.

Lex

I woke up hearing faint beeping. My eyes slowly fluttered open and I looked around a light room. Did I fucking die? I saw Lasercorn sitting—no laying—down on the couch next to the bed. A hospital. It was silent and then I heard the shuffling of feet. I looked at the door to see Wes walk in. He had a brownie and looked like he'd been crying. His face looked pale-ish and his eyes were red.

"W-We—" I stopped because it hurt. He looked at me in shock. I saw him smile and his eyes start to well up again. "You're ok." He started crying as he wrapped his arms around me. I hated seeing him cry. "I-I'm.......S-so...so—orry." I choked out. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked. "I-I wa-was afra-aid."I started crying.

Lasercorn soon woke up and he engulfed me in a hug. His warmth was something that made me happy. Extremely. I let out ugly sobs into his shirt. He held me until the nurse came in. She checked me out and said I could be released by tomorrow at most.

She told me to not talk too much either. She said it will hurt for a few days but as far as they checked nothing was wrong with my voice. The boys got me my phone and I texted them what I wanted to say.

"What happened after.....all of that?" I asked. "Your brother beat the shit out of him, you were taken to the hospital. The rest of them know about what happened." Lasercorn told me. "Why didn't you tell me Lex?" Wes asked. "I was afraid ok." I said. "Alexis it could've been alot worse! You should be lucky I—"

"Wes thats enough." Lasercorn stopped him. He looked at me and saw my eyes tearing up. "I'm sorry." He said before walking out. I pit my head in my hands I took a few deep breaths. Holy shit.

Lasercorn sat down in a chair he pulled up and waited for me to calm down a bit. "Hey, its ok. I can get behind why you didn't tell. Its hard. And your anxiety probably doesn't make it any easier." He rested his hand on my shoulder. "Thank you." My voice was hoarse. "Hey like I said I'm here for you." He told me. I smiled at him.

An hour or so later the rest of the crew came to check on me before they discharged me from the hospital. Everyone said that all night they were worried sick. I felt bad. I don't like making people worry about me. They got me out of the hospital and they let me do whatever.
