Sky's POV

It took awhile but I convinced Harry to let me drive his precious car so he wouldn't hurt himself any more. "Harry relax, I have my license! At least I think it isn't expired..."
"WHAT SKY?! PULL OVER R- Hey!!" he moaned at my laughter. He caught on pretty quickly that it was only a joke to startle him. My laughter was uncontrollable at the sight of Harry's expression! The terror and worry in his eyes said it all! "Stop laughing and focus on driving!" To have a little more fun with him, I removed both of my hands from the wheel, aware that there were no other cars on the road. "SKY STOP! NO NO! SKY HANDS ON THE WHEEL!" At this point controlling my laughter was impossible. Harry just crossed his arms, and whispered something I couldn't make out. "Chill Styles!"

I helped Harry to the bathroom, where I slipped his sweaty shirt (which would go STRAIGHT to the wash) over his curly head. His curls scattered over his forehead so I softly brushed them aside to kiss the bare skin, slightly tinted purple. He smiled, revealing those perfectly white teeth. My eyes were concentrated on one thing, but I didn't notice what until Harry snapped his fingers at me. "What?"
"You were staring at my tattoo."
My cheeks turned a light shade of salmon, and they felt like someone had laid a hot pad on my cheek. "Don't be embarrassed love," Harry reassured, softly stroking my cheek, "but you don't have to watch it, it isn't going anywhere." I laughed at his little remark. "I did it for you you know."
"But why Harry? Why'd you do it for me?"
"Because, I promised to never let you sink. It'll be a daily reminder of the trust and love you've confided within me." His tone was calm, but it contained all the sincerity necessary to amaze me. He never did cease to amaze me! The space between us was slowly minimizing, every breath he exhaled reflected off my face. He took his dominating hands and softly cupped my face. "Sky, I love you." And at that I pressed my freshly glossed lips to his. I took in every second, trying to capture the memorable moment to file away somewhere within my head. "I love you too..." I pulled away and whispered.

I'd ended up staying with Harry to make sure he was ok from his challenging afternoon in the cage. His eye was colored in a very fade purple, but his side/abdomen was what suffered the worst. He didn't break anything but he was sore, and really banged up, with bruises lining his torso. When my phone lit up due to a text from my mom, I was a little shocked. (Text: I get u don't wanna b at home right now, but could u please run over and shut the garage door? I forgot.)
I retrieved my little white converse from the entry way and slipped them over my fuzzy socks. "I'll be right back." I whispered to the sleepy Harry, drifting away on the sofa. He looked at me with genuine concern, "Promise you'll come back?" he pouted, his lip slightly jutting out. I giggled at the childish expression he wore, "Yes! I promise!" My pinky extended out to seal the deal. I pranced down the hallway and retrieved my satchel. "Sky?" I looked around the corner to see him perked up on the couch, "I love you"
"I love you too Harry!" I blew a kiss towards him before leaving. My house being such a little distance away proved to be a huge advantage. The air was warm, in the process of transitioning from spring to summer, my favorite time of the year. My tiny house came into view, so I ran the little distance remaining, craving to return to Harry ASAP. The garage door was wide open, as expected. I strutted inside and punched in the all-to-easy code. No one was home so I decided to grab the old hot pack I used when I was little for my "stomach aches". It was weird, something about the house was different... But I couldn't place my finger on it. I picked up the pace, just wanting to leave the unsettling house. With the hot pack secured in my satchel, I ran downstairs. My scream was a loud shrill almost, fear taking away most of my sound. Bradley and James awaited me at the bottom of my stairwell. James quickly broke the silence, "Well well well! If it wouldn't be Sky Jones herself?" he chilling lured forward towards me. While James continued to get to me through words, Bradley circled around me. "How do-do you know my name?" I stuttered. James' smirk was evil as he approached me. He leaned forward to have a perfect angle straight to my ear, "Your Harrys girl" I clenched my fist and displayed what I'd been taught over my years. My fist was planted into his cheek, while my foot was planted on his toes. My feet were quick but not quick enough... Bradley grabbed me and flung me to the ground. Shit I forgot about him! "No please!" I screamed as he threw my fragile body to the floor. "Shut up!" he demanded in a harsh tone. James regathered himself, suffering a bloody nose from my hit. He was furious! "You dumb little bitch! You'll be sorry you did that!" he screamed. He fumble with the back pocket of his pants, and finally pulled out an unforgiving weapon. The tiny handgun cab able of ending my life. 4 months ago I would've welcomed the fire ending my life, but something inside me didn't want to go... I wanted to stay alive and help the boy I loved, he needs me and I need him. "Please no! I'll do anything I swear just please let me-" the sound of a shot was heard... James dropped to his knees and fell forward. A gun wound to his back had him dead in a second. The gun was dropped from his grip, so I picked it up to defend myself if need be. Bradley's eyes widened and he took off running, that meant it wasn't him that shot. The gun fell from my grip and my heart was in my mouth, as the boy I loved stood in the hallway holding a gun, the gun I'd discovered only days ago. "Lets go Sky!"
