I like Dani

Dani's POV

After about a week in the hospital, I couldn't take the boredom anymore.

I made my nurse's life a living hell (I pulled pranks, and mouthed off) she finally released me about a week later. I healed pretty fast, although having wheelchair races with the younger kids probably wasn't a good idea and most likely could slow my healing process. But than again, when have I ever thought anything through?

Jeremy visited me everyday, with different superhero movies and a portable DVD player. I think he's trying to convert me. But I enjoyed the company, that's all I can say.

I'm back at school now, and kind of enjoying it. I missed everyone.

"So," I start as we walk in the hall. I link my hand with Will's and swing them between us. "When are we going on a date? We haven't been on one in ages."

"I don't know, would you like me to plan a surprise?" he asks and I giggle.

"Yeah that'd be nice. Since I plan all our dates."

"No you don't. I plan them too." he says as we pass the library.

"Um, I don't think parties count as dates." I tell him and he laughs.

"Fine, we'll go out somewhere. Just you and me. How does that sound?"

"That sounds great." I tell him, he leans against a locker. I quickly kiss him, and his cheeks flush. He runs his fingers through his hair, and looks me straight in the eye. "I love you so much."

"I know, who doesn't love me." I flip my hair over my shoulder, and he laughs again. He grabs my hands, holding them between us.

"Lunch starts soon." I tell him.

"It can wait." he responds, and kisses me.

"Could you stop please?" a voice asked. I opened my eyes, and saw it was Jeremy. "You're kind of blocking my locker." I groan, and detach myself from Will.

"Ruin the moment much?"

"If you want to suck face so badly get a room" Will lifts an eyebrow suggestively and I shove him off of me.

"See ya after school Jeremy" I say, and fix the crinkles on Will's varsity jacket.

"Bye Dani" he says, and takes the books out of his locker.

"It's Ellie!" Will calls out to him.

"Dani's fine, I like Dani"

"Lizzy doesn't like it" he protests.

"Well I do" I tell him, and run my hand down the sleeve. The leather feels cool on my skin. "Well now I do" he kisses me quickly, and Jeremy waves at me one last time before going down the stairs.

"I don't like that Jeremy guy, he gives me the wrong vibe"

"He gives you the wrong vibe?!" I laugh and Will blushes.

"I don't like when other people like my girl"

"He doesn't like me" I tell him, and close the space between us.

"Yeah, sure" Will rolls his eyes, and I kiss him on the lips.

"That answer your question?" I put my hand on my hip. "I might need another kiss to make sure" he says.

I peck him on the cheek. "Now can we please go have lunch?"

"Yeah I am kinda hungry" he says, and wraps his arm around my waist as we walk down the hall.
